There has never been a more obvious example of Lack of Institutional Control.

Fake news. Look at the guy’s profile. He’s not a sports media guy, just some rando looking for clicks.

Bwhahahahaha…you guys literally fall for everything
Lack of institutional control when NO rules have been broken? These new rules were put into action just yesterday and we voted for it to PASS. And I’m still see an non/eligible player step on our field.
Stop wish casting guys, it’s a bad look ;)

Fun Fact. Y'all want to take a guess who the last school was hit with "lack of institutional control?"
quote:
AI Overview
The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) was the last major high-profile Division I athletic program penalized by the NCAA for a formal charge of lack of institutional control.Details of the Ole Miss Case
Date of Final Ruling: The NCAA Infractions Appeals Committee finalized the case on November 1, 2018 (with subsequent win-vacation announcements finalized in February 2019).
The Violations: The Ole Miss football program was cited for 15 Level I violations under former head coach Hugh Freeze, encompassing impermissible recruiting inducements and an unconstrained culture of booster involvement.
The Penalties: The school was fined, placed on probation, given a multi-year bowl ban, subjected to scholarship reductions, and forced to vacate 33 wins across six seasons.
(Note: While other schools like Stephen F. Austin faced similar major penalties around 2020, the Ole Miss infractions case remains the most prominent recent benchmark widely referenced for a formal lack of institutional control finding.)
