With UCONN and Texas losing last night, Bama can make the Elite Eight playing no higher than a 10 seed. Can we go ahead and order those banners?

Alabama looked like crap against Iona. Maryland and UCLA aren’t their historical self, but they can’t play like that again.

Bama looked like poo but their defense will keep them in games.

They can get by Maryland with another subpar performance, but if they play UCLA they’ll have to find their offense again.

I expect another ugly win Monday

Got to play much better if they expect to beat Maryland. Bama needs Petty to get hot and damn soon.

Petty doesn't even need to get hot for Maryland or UCLA/ACU.

We just need him to stop turning over the ball, messing up offensive possessions and missing free throws.

He was an absolute nightmare.

The Iona game wasn’t as bad as it felt. We finished the game having shot 47% from the floor and we played great defense all night. It was really a tale of two halves. We need more from John Petty and we have to be better than 57% from the charity stripe. Those two things are what kept that game from being a 30 point blowout.

Pitino should have left his big in the game with 10 minutes left (after he drew his 3rd foul). Bama drove inside at that point and Reese hit those 3s moments later. That was the game and good on Bama for recognizing and capitalizing in that sequence.

Kentucky doesn't have to worry about being in the Nation Title in Any sport lately!

Well we just won one in rifle, and our women are in the NCAA tournament unlike yours. Don't snipe at us, we have far better snipers.

Can we get these 13th and 15th seeds to behave themselves?

Imagine if Oats wins it all... he and cal will be even in national title wins in the SEC.

I know what Oats was doing..he ran set after set trying to get Petty going but he had a horrible game offensively. Throwing the ball away and missing shot after shot and even free throws.

He's as good as we have defensively and he rebounds but if he has a meh game offensively thats a 20 point game yesterday.

We are set up perfectly to get to the Elite Eight if this man can get his head on straight somehow and we get Primo back.

Would a #15, 11, 14, 8 be the easiest path of all time?

I agree, really interesting.

There was also a series late where Iona was trying to keep Alabama within reach, and Oats went with a long lineup that sort of forced both of their bigs onto the floor at the same time, despite both being in foul trouble.

I love to watch that sort of strategic chess match.

Bama will probably make the FF...but Gonzaga will deep throat em. That zaga team is the best team I’ve watched since 2007 UF.

This was the big one. Went 13/23 and several of those misses were the front of a one and one. You go 20/23 and it's a 20 pt win.

If this happens, I won't be even a little bit mad.
