With UCONN and Texas losing last night, Bama can make the Elite Eight playing no higher than a 10 seed. Can we go ahead and order those banners?
Damned if I didn't!
Now we'll just have to find where we left our offensive game and we're home free!

Alabama will not be in the regional final next week if they play like they did against Iona. I said it elsewhere: they need Petty to get out of his offensive funk. Getting Primo back would be big too but Petty hitting shots makes this team almost unstoppable on offense.

Alabama is a very consistently good defensive team, so I won’t count them out but they could be another top 8 seed heading to the house early with a cold game on offense.

Petty has the yips it seems. If we are going to get to the e8 then he needs to find himself. He was the worst player on our team against Iona.

Maybe on offense but he had 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, and steal. He played good defense using his length to prevent dribble drive while still having the ability to cover space to prevent jumpers. He was absolutely a drag on the offense but I think the team needed him on the court.

That's fair. His offensive game is just clearly off. He seems to be playing nervous with the ball.
