And if so, what was the immediate reaction to that waste of time and money? I would've thrown all of my black bear gear in a fire and renounced my fandom right then and there. 45-3 to frakin horned frogs. Wasn't that the most embarrassing bowl game loss for the SEC in many years?

Damn

That was over a decade ago. 2 coaches ago. The players from the team are retired. Yours was a few months ago. The same payers and coach are there.

And those same players and coaches went into College Station and embarrassed the Aggies in front of the largest crowd in Texas sports history. TCU may have beaten you guys 100-0 if they beat us 42-3

Yes we got outplayed but I wouldn't call it an embarrassment

Oh it that how it works?

TCU beat WVU by 1. We beat WVU by 8. So we would have beaten TCU by a TD.

This is part of what is wrong with this country now. The Dome is perfectly fine. If I lived in Atlanta and they were building a new dome with this perfectly fine facility available I would be pissed. Same goes for the Braves Stadium.

I went to the Chick-fil-la Bowl after the 2012 season

I'm going to go ahead an say no, just because it's Ole Miss. People just unconsciously expect Ole Miss to lose, and lose bad. Despite their recent success, it still just feels oh so right when Ole Miss gets blown out. Like all is right in the world again. It's happened so many times over the year that it's like an instinct to not think twice about Ole Miss getting blown out.

I wanted Ole Miss to win that game so badly. Show the Frogs to be pretenders like they did to that good Tech team way back when. Instead I was relived TCU never got a chance in the playoffs. Their current coach would probably have two national titles if the jersey just didn't say TCU.

That changes this season... Rebs are going to beat the frick out of your squad again.

We're a bad matchup for finesse teams that are also soft.

No doubt. We were hoping with "nothing to play for" that TCU would kind of lay down. Instead, they were pissed off, a lot more talented than Ole Miss realized, and most importantly, incredibly well coached. Gary Patterson doesn't have the record he does for no reason.

Didn't go cause I thought we might get beat (not beat down) and I'm not a fan of going to bowl games in cities I've been too a million times..but I did go to the Aggie/Rebel game last year and was on the field pre game..loved the stadium and was impressed with how unified the cheers were from your fans even in the fourth quarter..

I wouldn't say that at all.
