BK said in his press conference he should have used a spy on Milroe.

This one is a head scratcher. At least make that adjustment at halftime.

Milroe would have trucked him.

Wow, even Fisher knew enough to do that. Not effectively, but at least he tried

I can't believe he didn't have a spy on him, but most surprised that BK would actually come out and admit it.

He’s Les Miles 2.0

He will always be close will win some he should and lose some he shouldn’t but he is not the guy!

They could have stayed with Les Miles all of these years and probably been more successful than they have been since they fired him.

Texas had a spy on Milroe - Anthony Hill, who was the #1 LB recruit in the country. It worked out well. He even got a sack or two. Unfortunately for LSU, they don't have athletes of that caliber on their defense.

Agreed... I don't understand the logic. Maybe he was worried about the young DBs in coverage and didn't want to sacrifice the coverage to add a spy. I mean, Milroe hasn't exactly been a scrambling expert this year. He's more a of sack artist... but he stepped up Saturday

We spied on the first drive. Seemed to work. Then stopped doing it. I’d rather have seen Milroe beat us with an intermediate passing game than with a Houston Dale Nutt 3rd down scramble package (where he is elite).

Every 3rd down was easy. Flood the deep zones, allow LSUs dline to continually rush themselves out of the play, scramble up the middle for 20 yards, and profit.

It became a meme as the game went on. 2 million dollars per year sure doesn’t buy what it used to!

Despite popular belief, Milroe is a threat to throw the ball downfield very effectively. And in this game he was effective using his safety valve RBs in the flats. This idea that Milroe sucks at throwing the ball is old and tired. He isn't the passer Daniels is obviously, but he is absolutely capable of burning the D if they take a player out of coverage to spy him.

Les Miles LSU teams played with physicality and attitude. Kelly's teams have neither.

it wouldn't have made a difference

the bad thing is LSU has the worst defense I have ever seen

the good thing is now bama fans think they are legit and UGA will beat the crap out of them

Milroe and Alabama have greatly improved since that game. They would be sitting here today with at least two more losses if they continued play like against Texas in the second week of September.
