Oregon Made it to two
2010
lost 22-19 vs Auburn
2014
42-20 vs Ohio State
I think they are way more a legit team taht jsut isn't as good as the teams the lost to than ND, who only decent win was 12-2 Stanford,.

The correct answer is Florida State 2000.
Miami was ranked #2 and beat #3 FSU.
Washington was ranked #4 and beat #2 Miami and #5 Oregon State.
One of those two teams should have played in the CCG. Either one could have beaten Oklahoma.

With that game plan you rolled out there OSU would’ve steamrolled you also.
2011 Oklahoma State had a bottom 10 rush defense.
Had Mike Sherman not been such a fricking idiot and started passing 80% of the time in the second half against them, a 20-3 halftime lead becomes a much wider one.
LSU would not have had to throw a single pass to win, or did you forget that they absolutely shut down Oregon and West Virginia that year?

Oregon outgained LSU 335-273 while West Virginia outgained LSU 533-366. There was no absolute shutdown of either team.

Erin Murray's knee was down nearly a full yard short of the end zone on 4th down for the go ahead TD.
Jake Holland's shining moment. He made a helluva play that will forever be forgotten because of a shitty call.

This.
LSU's defense was insanely opportunistic, not a "shut them down" defense like Alabama's. Two great defenses, but for two very different reasons.

They made the 2013 BCS game and got raped by Alabama 41-14, then they made the 2018 playoffs and lost 30-3. In both games, they were completely outclassed on the field.
You can tease an SEC opponent, but that team had to make it out of the SEC (and strong competition) with a great record.
Notre Dame gets by on it's schedule of big-name has-beens, along with media recognition.
No one has gotten more of a "benefit of the doubt" thanks to a lot of close wins than Notre Dame. They play some good teams (like in 2012, Stanford and Oklahoma were on up there) but it was had to tell just how good those teams really were. OU had a couple of wins worthy of note, but at the same time got destroyed in the post season the moment they stepped out of conference to play someone other than ND. Stanford got a mediocre Wisconsin team and eeked out a win there.
ND showed kinks in their armor early on (barely beating a Michigan team Alabama obliterated, only JUST hanging on in a win against Pitt).
Notre Dame would have lost to Georgia, Texas A&M and LSU that year. They were ill-suited for the rigors of SEC play.

Kentucky and Arkansas, who both had Heisman trophy candidates that year, were both ranked #18 when LSU played them, and it took 6 combined overtimes.

All It proved is that we weren’t ready for a game that meant nothing in the pursuit of a championship. Of the 29 games we have played in the past 2 years, that’s the only game that fits that description.

Biggest fraud? Definitely Scam Newton and the 2010 Tigers. But for some reason all my Auburn friends keep saying it's a tie between the 2011, 2012, and 2017 Tide teams.

According to the SECrant, the biggest fraud will automatically be anytime LSU makes the championship because whatever good achievements we have always have excuses as to why they are invalid according to everyone else.
