Eddie Lacy busted through the line for 12 yards on the second play of the game. Nobody touched him for ten yards. Game was over right there.

That team got so many lucky/fluky breaks, but I wouldn't say they were a fraud. They were less than a minute away from beating a great FSU team that had one of the best rosters in recent memory.

People hyped that team so much they actually argued for a rematch of Michigan-Ohio State in the BCS title game.

2007 LSU - lost to unranked Kentucky and Arkansas and got lucky as hell in a few other games. They also needed a few miracles to even get in the championship game.

I mean they obviously deserved to be there. Supposedly there was a huge fight in their locker room right before kickoff because Troy Smith was fooling around with another player's GF. Then they lost their version of Percy Harvin on a stupid injury.

Yeah, but so did 2012 Notre Dame. I think Ohio State was a bigger fraud than Notre Dame because Ohio State was favored by a touchdown against Florida. Notre Dame was like a double digit dog.
