3. Tennessee - Neyland Stadium (1921 - present)
475-135-17, 0.758

4. Georgia - Sanford Stadium (1929 - present)
364-108-9, 0.757

5. Florida - Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (1939 - present)

6. LSU - Tiger Stadium (1924 - present)

A couple of things...

UGa may catch and pass Tennessee for #3 this year.

And LSU is firmly ensconced at #6 for the foreseeable future.

We are also only 10 behind Tennessee in all time wins. Gotta think we will catch them pretty soon.

How has LSU played so many more home games than everyone else but Tennessee? Is this just at their current stadiums or something? LSU has nearly twice the number of home games played as Alabama, seems almost impossible even with Alabama playing a bunch of games in Birmingham

In fairness, that stat is very misleading. For the longest time we played most of our impactful/rivalry games at Legion Field in Birmingham. We didn't start playing in Bryant-Denny more often until after the stadium expansion of 1987-88. And it wasn't until after the next stadium expansion of 1997-98 that Bryant-Denny became our primary home field. We were still playing home games at Legion Field in 2003.

Not bad for UF considering we didn’t try until the 80s

We probably wouldn’t make the top 6 anyway but people forget that until the 1990’s when Jackie was hired, almost all our home games were 150 miles away in Jackson because our stadium was so small. The best thing that ever happened was Jackie telling the administration , or DEMANDING that the stadium needed expansion and that no more home games were going to be played anywhere but Starkville.

How could LSU have played so many more games in TS than UGA in Sanford given they were only opened five years apart?

Auburn played regular home games in Birmingham until the late 70's (From what I've heard).

for years the only game they played in Tuscaloosa was homecoming. That is why they threw a fit when Auburn wanted a true home/away. That "neutral site" was where they played the majority of their games every year.
