Take out Bruce's one FF season, and Oats already has more tournament wins in 3 years than Pearl did in the other 7.

But 2018/2019 makes him the GOAT, right?

nobody has won more SEC games over the last 7 years. He has done that at Auburn......Auburn. He has done things at Auburn that have never been done. Oats has two Sweet 16 appearances.......at a school that has had a lot more basketball success than Auburn. Oats sold his soul for a Sweet 16?

so if you are a role player on an NBA team you aren't "NBA talent"?

Yeah, I mean that’s not even impressive. Alabama probably has a ton of those.

Yeah, everything else is irrelevant, right? No need for additional comparisons?

I wish I had a $50-million contract based on something that happened once, five years ago.

I would argue with anyone who said Bruce has not done well.

Bruce hasn't just done well for Auburn basketball, he's done well for Auburn Athletics. He is the best marketing tool for their entire AD.

Great dude & I’d take him over RT in a heartbeat. His regular seasons here were always really good. It was the inexplicable March collapses that got him fired.

I agree 100%

I may even go so far to say he is currently the best marketing tool for the University as a whole

My daughter (no pics) is currently in her second year at Auburn. In her senior year of high school I asked her if she knew who the basketball coach was - she said "Bruce Pearl of course".... I then asked if she knew who the football coach was, she had zero idea.... I could not help but laugh to myself - I never thought someone would easily know who the Auburn Basketball coach was and have no clue who the football coach was lol

I agree about Pearl on all counts. However, to say that Nate isn’t a great coach is beyond laughable. He took 2 returning starters and a brand new coaching staff this season and still led the country in offense and very easily could have won the SEC.

Was really hoping that the Nate would get Bama back to their glory years.

You know, get them to their 2nd Elite Eight ever, or maybe even their first Final Four ever.
