You mean the year where Auburn went back to back? Undefeated Champs in 1957, then repeated it in 1958 by going undefeated again!!!

Teams should recognize national titles for every undefeated season?

Hey your licks in now because besides Tennessee is getting stronger and stronger every year under Heupel and are ready to completely run this conference.

Mythical. Never settled on the field. Just a bunch of sportswriters opinions. Even when Auburn won it.

LSU beat Clemson in the sugar bowl and Auburn didn’t even play in a bowl game. The Birmingham News awarding you a National championship is the equivalent to the National Enquirer saying Hilary Clinton was elected President in 2016.

Auburn is not being honest with themselves or others with their new fake championship claims. It reeks of desperation and their sense of inferiority.

Not only that, they’ve won (outright or shared) every single SEC championship going back to 1963. You read that right, those six teams have been SEC champions every year for the last 63 years.

Please enlighten me which title they won in 2004. Because I remember watching USC beat Oklahoma. Did the BCS or AP retroactively award Auburn? No. So what is their claim? Which trophy is in their ops building? The ColonBlow National Championship?

When did you wake up from your coma?

You sound exactly like some daily message board poster with your cheesy post. You're on here every day. How do you not know this story about Auburn new championships?

Auburn falling in line with the Woke Liberals. Re-write history, scream loud enough, and long enough, and Truth becomes Lies and Lies become Truth.

I recognize how difficult this must be for you. Without a playoff, who was best is opinion.

i dont have an issue with that prior to the CFP. If you went undefeated and were left out because some media outlet said you didnt deserve it? Claim it.

Auburn would have stomped either one of those teams in 04. They were very obviously the best team in the country, and got shafted so ESPN could get their USC/OU natty game that they wanted in 03.

Good lord. 1993 too? I guess the best way to win a title is to be mediocre but go on probation so you can skip the conference championship and bowl games.

yes 1993. We were the best team in the country. I dont give a frick if we were on probation. Bama paid one of our players to record himself begging Pat Dye for money so they could get Dye fired. It worked.

So yeah, were claiming 1993 and frick everyone who cries about it

ESPN wanted USC vs LSU in 2003. Oklahoma had just got stomped out in the Big 12 title game and somehow remained number 1 in the BCS when the coaches and AP had USC number 1 and LSU number 2. Auburn would have been beaten soundly by USC in 04

Desperate. Inferiority displayed.

Then Tulane won a natty in 1998 and UCF in 2017.
