The entire Big 12 could beat the bottom 75% of the Big 10.

It's weird to me how many people think labels mean something.
As if because the Big12 is for some reason allowed to pretend like it's a "power" conference that all things are otherwise equal.
It's bullshite that either of those teams will be given a spot.
Do people really hate meritocracy this much?

To be fair to the BXII commish his main argument seems to solely be that their champion deserves to be seeded ahead of Boise State, which is pretty reasonable. Arizona State and Iowa State have significantly more difficult schedules than Boise does. Now, should either of them get a bye? Hell no, but the bye already exists so one of them is getting it. He's saying it should be them.
Unless I missed it he isn't arguing for anything beyond that.

Big 10 should be maxed out to only 2 slots in the CFP regardless of their inflated ratings in the pollls.. It is a top heavy conference with mostly poor teams.
Big 12 should focus their complaints against the Big 10 not the SEC. SEC should have 5 or 6 in the CFP.

But he seemed upset that 3 loss Alabama, USCe, and Ole Miss were ahead of his 2 loss teams. He says it is because of their names and have not earned their ranking.

Ahhh, I missed that part. Yea, probably best to keep his mouth shut.

As long as Ohio State makes it then I do not care about the rest of the B1G.

Sandusky abused boys in the locker rooms and showers for decades while the cult and it's Jim jones-like leader, Paterno covered it up.

If I'm not mistaken some of those boys were mentally challenged.

Penn State’s schedule was beyond a joke. Oregon can name the score tomorrow.
Oregon struggled with FCS Idaho at home...Boise State had 'em on the ropes at Eugene and Oregon won it late by a FG...they struggled with Wisconsin at Camp Randall just a couple of weeks ago or so, winning by just three...
There just aren't any dominant/elite teams this year...right now I think that about half of the field of 12, as it stands now, are capable of winning it all...and I think there are a couple outside it capable as well...

They have about 6 good programs and then absolute trash.

There are no deserving Big 12 teams

I think it'd be interesting to break the current season for football in a similar manner. Show records including wins and losses based on quadrant.
Not sure WHICH ranking system that would be (FEI maybe, or SP+). Just would be interesting to see.
I've tended to use Sagarin in the past just because he ranked every team and it was easily searchable (never behind a paywall).

Absolutely. There's also no reason for them to release a top 25 before the season is over either. I've never understood the purpose of this. It just brings unnecessary criticism on themselves.

My guess is that a college football NET would be a combination SP+ FEI performance analytics toned down with sone other computer polls. It would probably end up being close to the composite BCS computers.
What would be great is for it to reflect the difference between playing the same opponemt home vs away.
It's common sense that it's almost always harder to beat #30 on the road than it is team #20 at home yet college football talking points almost never make that distinction.

Really hoping for OU to absolutely blow out out PSU by enough that tOSU and the Vols can move up a spot and host.

Brett Yormark can hop, skip, jump and go frick himself in the corner.
Yes, we have legit beef with him and his deputy commish as well.

The same 10-2 coaches who complain about being ranked behind 9-3 SEC teams are perfectly OK being ranked ahead of 11-1 Army.

Look at them, trying to get the SEC and the B1G to agree on something. Not gonna fall for it.
