Saying that the state of ga and ark are ANYWHERE close talent wise is the biggest joke ever.
Arkansas has a top 5 basketball class. 3 of those are from within the state. Next year is a pretty loaded in state crop as well.

GT is remodeling there gym to the tune of 45$ mil which will be done at the end of next year. The team will play at the gwinett center/Phillips arena next year. I don't know what facilities ARK is running with but this gym will be awesome.
Basketball Palace of Mid America, it is called Bud Walton Arena. Small place, only holds around 20k.

We also just bought out our coach for $7 mil so saying we don't have money is also laughable.
You don't have money NOW. Is that better?

Not going to argue stadium size, say what you want, but were putting $45 mil into our stadium next year.

We also just adjusted our ESPN contract to make $6mil more a year. WE HAVE MONEY NOW.

Hey, guy, don't make a list like that expecting great ooohs and ahhhs when only 4 on that wonderful list played for GT
That's the thread premise if you haven't noticed.

I never said we had more, but we have enough. Arkansas recruits from our state, St. Louis, Memphis, Dallas Metro, etc. Getting players to Arkansas has never been a problem.

Not really sure where Al Horford from. He has a Spanish accent though, so I'm assuming he is from out of the US.
Josh Smith is from Atlanta.
If you arky fans are talking about the most overrated and also the most overpaid player in the nba - then yes, he is from arkansas.

No the thread premise is that Arkansas can match GA for recruits. This is not true in anyway. Saying that you get kids from St louis, memphis, etc is retarded. Thats like saying GT gets kids from NC, ALA, FLA, hell we recruited Shumpert from CHI.
I never once said these recruits go to GT. I am very aware how many kids we lose in GA to other schools. What I'm trying to say is that THEORETICALLY, it would be very easy for a coach to come in at GT and recruit well. Much easier than at ARK. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS???
ETA: Everyone also seems to forget our team last year. We had 4 Mcdonalds all americans, Lawal, Favors(#3 recruit in the country), Shumpert, Rice JR, even Udofia was espnu150.
If we had a competent coach last year, we make a run at the ncaa championship

I went to Whitefield Academy, a private school in GA. Josh Smith was a freshman when I was a 6th grader but became academically ineligible because he was as dumb as a brick and had to leave after xmas. My 8th grade year, our BBall team defeated the Dwight Howard/Crittendon SACA team in the state championship. If J Smooth had stayed at Whitefield, we probably would have been the #1 team in the country.
