Dude. This is such a trolling post that’s been done like once/month by multiple Gumps.

The team you’re pimping did not play one school that did not have major players sit out for the year. They beat an OSU team that played 6 games sporadically throughout the season.

They were a very good team. But they were rather untested. They did not play in one full SEC stadium so they never had to deal with a hostile crowd like champions before and past.

It didn’t matter who won 2020, that team was always going to have an asterisk.

The 2023 LSU Tigers have one of the most explosive offenses ever.

Played during a season that no one cared about during a pandemic. I agree that it’s funny.

Only other SEC fans didn't care. BTW, 2020 is not our best team ever, it is just fun to debate with the goobers that say there is an asterisk by 2020....lol

You can down vote all you like. It still doesn’t make it any less true. Most of those players on the 2020 team were on the 2019 team that couldn’t slow down LSU. But I’m sure the Alabama contingent is going to try and dispute it anyway. Generations of inbreeding tends to make one stupid.

That is original. Good job. How do you think Louisiana ranks in terms of incest compared to Alabama? Spoiler alert.

Even if it was 1388 that would still be fricking impressive lol

Bama fans who flex this title (of all the titles they’ve won) check both the insecure and retarded boxes.

2019 lsu barely hung on by 5 points vs. Bama playing an injured Tua at QB - lsu won the game but "best teams ever" dominate the entire schedule - so go ahead and keep lying to yourself - it's all you will have for quite some time.

He’s not wrong. Tua fumbles on the goal line. That is a very different game otherwise….still had to hang on for dear life…..

Dude...LSU was driving and could have scored again but took mercy knees and ran out the clock

The 2005 Texas Longhorns (led by the indomitable Vince Young) beat the best team since the Roman Phalanx according to ESPN and MSM (Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart USC), so it's obvious that team.

1899 Sewanee went 12-0 scoring 332 while giving up 10.

With just 18 players, the team known as the "Iron Men" embarked on a ten-day, 2,500 mile train trip, where they played five games in six days. Sewanee had five shutout wins over Texas (in Austin), Texas A&M (in Houston), Tulane (in New Orleans), LSU (in Baton Rouge), and Ole Miss (in Memphis). Sportswriter Grantland Rice called the group "the most durable football team I ever saw." The road trip is recalled memorably with the Biblical allusion "...and on the seventh day they rested."

And only Bama thinks this but everyone else knows the best ever BY FAR was LSU 2019. This isn’t meant for discussion or a debate because there is no debate it’s not even close.
