If bama fans want to convince themselves beating a 7 win buckeye squad (lol) makes them the greatest team, that is their prerogative.

It’s a joke to even put 2020 Bama in this conversation. LSU beat 7 teams ranked in top 10 by an average margin of 38 points. That’s insane!

I want to thank everyone for participating in this thread.
If not a unanimous,it is certainly a consensus, opinion that Alabama 2020 is the best college football team ever to exist.
That is something of which all SEC fans can be proud.

I'm not sure why that would be true. Are you saying that Alabama had some magical way of using Covid to its advantage over and above other teams?
How did they do that? Did the REC create special, high performance face diapers for Alabama players that weren't available to all other teams?
Did Alabama players, unlike the rest of the world, have a special vaccine that actually worked?
Were Alabama players somehow able to play with Covid while other teams could not due to cheating referees?
I still haven't seen one poster explain how Alabama managed when virtually no other teams could.
Let's take Michigan as an example of things that were out of Alabama's control. Michigan had a player's uncle get Covid, and the player's uncle lived 45 miles away and had no contact with his nephew and never came to the campus but, Michigan cancelled their whole season.
Things like that weren't Alabama's fault; teams like that just didn't care about football very much.
Alabama cared more because it is important to them. Alabama will win under any duress, under any circumstances, under any emergency alerts because, well, because they are Alabama. They have always been winners and always will be winners and the tougher it gets, the better they become.
