I know it has happened. But I can’t remember it. Most guys get benched before they have the opportunity. Who was the last to do it and against what team?

Google's AI reports that Lagaway tied Shane Matthews (1992) but is surpassed by UF's John Reaves, who threw nine in 1969.

Quincy Carter threw five against SC.

Pretty sure Jamie Howard threw 5 picks and 3 of them were Pick 6’s in the LSU Aubie game in 1994.

You still hear nightmares people have about that game.

Oh, and all in the 4th quarter.

I was there. It was a fabulous game. Why DiNardo (I think it was) refused to run the ball and keep throwing is one of the biggest questions I have about a game I attended. LSU absolutely deserved to win that game

That’s wild because he threw five to LSU that year, too.

Curly Hallman was LSU's coach, I think.

And yes, LSU had outplayed us all afternoon long, until Jamie Howard started throwing passes to us.

The 9 interception game was a matchup between Sullivan and Beasley and Reeves and Alverez. Auburn won 38-12 in Auburn.

Shane Matthews was the last QB for Florida to have 5 picks against Mississippi State in 1992.

DiNardo wasn’t that bad. Only Curley Halan could put together a masterpiece like that. It’s the only time I’ve ever legitimately thought a coach should be fired during the game.

My buddy and I had just graduated High school in 92 and were watching that game. He was a big LSU fan and I thought he was going to throw the TV.

I was 7 and my dad pretty much gave up on LSU football after that performance and still brings up that game whenever LSU does something good

I remember that game too, frick Howard lol.

Way I remember it, we ran all over Auburn much of the game, but they finally started stuffing the run, so Howard started throwing.
After the 2nd or 3rd pick, LSU tried to run a couple downs and lost yds... then another Howard pick.

I honestly think LSU wins if they just kneel and play defense the 4th quarter
