When it Comes to Drinking, Tigers Fans Top Every College Poll; the $120,000 Stadium Tab
By Ben Cohen

TEXT
This weekend, thousands of Louisiana State fans will swarm New Orleans to watch the Tigers take on Alabama in Monday's BCS Championship game. But before, during and after the contest, these celebrants will gather in the French Quarter to engage in the one activity they're better at than perhaps any other group of football fans: drinking.

Someone will good gif skills can maybe make this work:
quote:
LSU fans consumed nearly 55,000 beers during one game in October game. And at the next game, fans downed more than 60,000 beers.
The report says "Selling booze in Tiger Stadium is a bit like selling water in a desert."
LSU has reported big time numbers for this first year of alcohol sales. The athletic department made $2.259 million in net revenue off beer and wine sales in Tiger Stadium. The more than 280,000 drinks, which don't include sales in premium areas, were sold across seven home games during the regular season.

We do everything we can to support our institution of higher learning. It's the little things like this that go a long way.

It’s a huge revenue maker that State will probably be the last SEC school to embrace

There are a lot of Louisiana people who think marijuana is evil, but celebrate their own alcoholism

LSU is undefeated in football since alcohol sales began in Tiger Stadium.

This is another reason to get Wisconsin on the schedule again...and do a REAL home and home this time.
Put those 2 fan bases together and there may not be enough booze in the entire state to go around.
