Baylor - Undefeated murderers and rapists. They are right on par with penn state except slightly less ghey.

They landed a really good coach in Aranda. I don’t know him but it sounds like he’s a good fit at Baylor with the pseudo-intellectual crowd and the Asian shiplap lady on HGTV. I think they are in a good spot to run that conference especially because tu sucks and BlowU is rebuilding/leaving.

Aggie wants no part of their old rivalry. This is the same team that opts out of its bowl game.

Guys? Don't say this. You are going to really upset Texas-austin fans. Baylor does own them and it is not going to change next year. Baylor found the best coach in the Big 12 and they better win quick as he probably takes a huge $100M+ contract after 2023. Certainly make OU and Texas-austin fans happy. They are too proud to actually try to steal the better coach. It is an admittance of superiority of the Baylor program.

As an Aggie, they did have the best sports program in Div I of all Texas teams. I won't deny the statement as accurate and truthful. Other ADs who have been trying to remove the shite stain of their program last 12 years could learn from Baylor.

Natty? naw I just mean make it to the SECCG. You'll never win a natty again.

This has been said since Saban left LSU.

Since then we’ve played for three and won two additional natties. Guess LSU never got the memo it was supposed to suck.

Indeed.

And they were an absolute doormat outside of women's basketball not that long ago.

They have done far more with much less than my Ags or the sips.

It appears that got that memo in 2020, right after they won the National Championship.

The results don't lie. I've been saying we should have non-conference series with them in every year in every sport but football (where we should play them sometimes too) since we have been in the SEC. Too many of our fans, though, who only were exposed to the rivalry through the lens of football from the late 80's through the 00s, playing Baylor is considered to be a no-win situation. They have so little respect for them or knowledge of the rivalry (Baylor is our second biggest rival historically) that its viewed as an easy win at best and a loss would be outright embarrassing to them. Any of our fans that do begrudgingly acknowledge them, usually do so only through an accusatory lens where they believe that Baylor should be losers in every sport except they use the scandals the athletic department has been through to view them as winning only through some kind of moral debasement.

Going by the Director's Cup, Baylor's highest ever finish was 23rd in 2015.

Not a great measuring stick when there are over 45 sports it looks at and Baylor only fields teams in 17 of them.

One they don't use is Acrobatics/Tumbling which Baylor has won the National Title the last 6 years in a row.

It seems to me that Baylor has the best run all around athletics department in TX. And it seems to me wrong that we have a system (for lack of a better word)that does not reward that.

No matter what Baylor accomplishes on the fields/courts of play, as a smaller private school, Baylor now is always on the brink of being demoted into another SMU or even Rice.

Baylor’s not doing shite in the SEC with that tiny offensive and defensive line.

That Baylor D Line kicked our O line’s teeth in and would have all game irregardless of who our QB was behind center. Give them credit.

I thought I read where they weren't even going to be invited to the B12 after the SWC collapsed but some Senator or Governor basically forced the B12 to take Baylor.

@Murph4HOF...Was true once upon a time when Baylor Law dominated the state's Legislature. No more. aggy and UT are the powers and TT in Austin. UH might even have more than Baylor nowadays. Baylor has to do this on its own now. They were never prepared to be in the original Big 12.

It's the oldest school of higher education in the State but that ship of power has long ago sailed.

Defending National Champion in basketball

Top 5-6 finish in football

This is better than every team in the SEC except maybe bama if you put more value in football especially considering they are a top team in basketball again this year.
