re: Yardage vs Slope when traveling

I'm in my 60's so the first factor I look at is length of the Par 3's; if they are all long iron or hybrid distance from a set of tees I'll move up 1 tee. Also overall anything over 6400 yds will be tough.
I know someone who works for The Fore Kids Foundation and they told me this week that 2025 was record breaking from the financial aspect, better than 2024. They added more grandstands for the Best of Zurich and Walk Ons type offerings and almost all of it was sold out Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Doubt if LIV in June could do that. Fall would be worse with college football and the Saints.
Angel Grease is awful at basketball.......and life.

re: Anyone in Troy Carter's District?

I'm stuck in his Gerrymandered district, part of our parish is and the other part is not. :banghead:

Didn't vote for him last time but we are outnumbered the way they drew up the district. If he gets 70% of the NOLA vote it would be almost impossible to beat him since part of N Baton Rouge is in his district. Middle class white voters in St. Charles, St. John, St. James, Assumption, Iberville, and Ascension that are in his district have no voice.

Essence Fest, the one week where you know LaToya will be in town and not on a trip.
Went to Five O Fore last week for the first and probably last time . Curious to see how long it stays in nice condition given the clientele that was there.

They were arresting someone and the bitch pushed the cop, lucky they didn't split her stupid head open. You interfere like that you will and should pay the price.
People drive like total idiots on that stretch of 10. As soon as they pass LaPlace (and 310 heading East) they think its the Autobahn with no speed limits and weave in/out of lanes.

So... not for bumping the ump.

What a choke by Fleetwood that entire back 9

It started on Hole 1 actually. Feel bad for Fleetwood, very likeable guy. I hope he can finally win one in the US to get that monkey off his back.

He was arguing balls and strikes. Told the ump he already missed 3 pitches.

Well he is was correct though, ump is bad and thin skinned.

Bad strike call on the steal. Thought it was ball 1 instead of a strike and complained. When he held up 3 fingers the wimpy plate ump tossed him.

Why not, it’s a promotion for him

Probably not happy because his son was going to Belhaven to play for him :dunno:

Better add 25 to 30 K to that, your not getting a Palisade for 30K

The second episode was ok, Si claims to have seen bigfoot and wants to make a documentary about it. His other ideas were hilarious, one he had was for him to be a super hero wearing a cape.
Willie babysitting all of the grandkids was funny at times. They spent a decent amount of time showing the sons and son in laws competing in pickle ball; two of them are super competitive and the rest don't really care.
