Get the boudin balls and also spinach artichoke dip w/ fried pasta chips as appetizers at Chimes

Thank me later

WalkOns close to the baseball stadium would be a good hangout spot to drink and eat as well

yes but it’s a Louisiana chain. The BR location is the second one that opened.

x2 on Chimes. Try the spinach and artichoke dip. Not a unique dish, but theirs is spicy and they serve it with fried lasagna noodles instead of chips.

Louie's Cafe right down the street for lunch/ brunch on Saturday before heading to Alex Box.

Parrain's, Mike Anderson's, or maybe Drusilla Seafood for a seafood dinner.

Coffee Call for a beignet breakfast - get the Cafe Au Lait with them. *chef's kiss*

Man that looks like a sanctuary. What's that tower in the background? Guess I can use that as a reference point.

My go-to is the Chimes Club sandwich with the fried chicken breast. I'd also recommend the shrimp and grits, but if you do a combo of apps and the seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee, or red beans and rice with sausage you'll be satisfied and not at all disappointed. Fantastic draft beer selection - try Abita Purple Haze (raspberry lager) or Amber on tap.

BBQ shrimp poboy is the entree you seek. And no, New Orleans-style BBQ is nothing like Texas or KC style. It’s not even BBQ at all.

Blackened gator or spinach dip for apps

Chimes is the obvious choice near campus. You can also go by Walkons which is a short walk from the staidum. Not super unique, but it's the original Walkons location and should be a big party for the supers.

Ruffino's is a good option if you want to have a nice dinner while in town.

Mason's and Olive R Twist are go tos for brunch.

Chimes is LEGIT. I’ve gotten something different every time I’ve been there and it never disappoints. You’ll be happy with anything off the menu

If Chimes has the marinated crab c claws get em. They serve with some garlic bread and you can sop up the sauce. It’s amazing.

Doe’s Eat Place is pretty good (but not as good as the one in Monroe).

It’s a steak place.
