Can't help but wonder who's poised to implode more.

The voters apparently turned the MU - Bama game off at the half.

Eh, you beat a top 10 (in reality probably top 20ish) team at home to go with how many other great wins? A bunch. Doesn't matter if it went from 20 to 1 in 3 minutes or not.

I saw where it is the first time since 1961 that the AP poll did not include Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas or UCLA. (I think Miss State finished 4th in 1961).

Of course you are correct, but they sure torpedoed that high I was riding on for the first 27 minutes!

It's pretty hilarious watching you guys talk about your program in the exact same way we talk about ours. Always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I guess that's what being 2 of the 3 basketball programs regularly cited as "best team never to go to the Final Four" does to you

Watched that game with my son (also a MU alum) and as the knots in our stomachs started to unwind, said maybe the curse has been lifted and nobody told us. In years past we would have lost the LSU and Arkansas football games in the final moments as well as this one. Who knows?

This thread is a safe harbor for the mentally and emotionally abused fanbases of Alabama and Missouri Men's Basketball. We'll be here for you when you implode if you'll be here for us when we implode.

Mizzou fans self-deprecating. We don’t get much of that around here, it’s just all chest pounding.

Congrats on the top-10! Way to represent the conference.

Don’t tell Mizzou fans this. No win is good enough unless it’s a blowout 5 minutes into the game and ends as a 30 pt victory.

As an aside, the SEC sucks pretty bad this year
