You're certainly correct. Only ONE team can win a title, and there are probably more D-1 collegiate baseball teams than football teams. Besides, this is a stupid thread to begin with.

The difference is that baseball seems to be a much more fair sport. In football, not only do you have to cheat on the level of Alabama, but you also have to have a good coach, the media in you back pocket, insiders in the conference HQ and NCAA HQ so that you can handle scandals internally.
In that sense, it's harder to win the football title for the have nots but much easier for the haves.

Ole Miss should probably stop wasting money on football then IMHO IYAM. Way too many external forces working against them.

Meh, I enjoy other sports as well. I see college football as great entertainment but it is not a fair sport at all. It's a pretty fabricated and bullshite system, to be honest.
