I know Costello has had previous success, and this is the Pirate and not Sloppy Joe, but I'm going in with cautious optimism on a transfer QB after the Touchdown Tommy debacle.

If you watched him play, you saw where he didn’t take sacks and would throw the ball away. which would bring his YPA down. But he would take a sack, which didn’t totally cripple the Offense.

Yea, I'm not following, but alright. Bo Nix will be good no matter what and his YPA number wasn't a real indicator of what he did or something and no improvement on it is needed.

Got it.

Any list ranking Monds anywhere near the top or best or most likely to succeed is not to be taken seriously.

Not what I am saying at all. He does need to stay in the pocket and not get rid of the ball too early. I believe Gus had him play that way at times so he wouldn't take a sack. Most of his passes were beyond 15 yards, so his YPA is not a true indicator of his passing ability. Not like having a huge YPA by throwing slants or screens. The issue with Gus is he didn't have a check down receiver for Bo, his progression was usually two routes and then throw the ball away. Morris I hope at least has a better route tree for him, because he can make all the passes. He proved that the last half of the season.
