1) I usually hear stuff. Haven’t heard a peep yet.
2) Odom was a good to very good defensive coordinator. He struggles with relationships and that can cause problems in the big picture. If the head coach can manage that, he can succeed. But it’s a big if. Pinkel couldn’t even fully mitigate this in 2015 and by season’s end, our Dline coach and Odom, the DC, communicated only through intermediaries.

We lost $7M in football ticket revenue between 2015 and 2016. A lot of that was the protest bullshite. But the students have come back to the university. The fans haven’t come back to the games. That’s on Odom.

Eh. Even people in the state fell for the clickbait even as the click farm FB pages were recycling the same articles for 2 years afterwards. It has been fascinating to watch.

Sterk stated that the 2019 ticket sales were almost $6 million behind 2014 sales. It's year 4 as you stated, enrollment has normalized. Attendance has not because of on field performance. You don't get to get to cause a loss of revenue, piss off the university president and keep your job.

The novelty of joining the sec being over and the reality of unwinnable games is why the ticket sales might not return (maybe a brief bump for a new coach).

I have lurked here years before Mizzou was even in the SEC. I used to post at the old Tidesports site before it became pay only. I was at Woolyal and then Woollyal (shaggy bevo knock off) after the geniuses realized they spelled woolly wrong.
I have been around, just usually prefer to read and take things in instead of posting.
I wanted to post in the Bama forum, but I have not been approved to do so. I wanted to push Odom to Bama because I think he would be good. I just wanted some Bama fans to maybe discuss it there.
