I think this game has “potential” to be very interesting. The swamp is going to be rocking and it’s going to be the truly first tough test for the young Bama QB. Bama’s offensive line has looked vulnerable so far this year and UF’s strength is in their front7.
UF offense has been a complete riddle so far. They’ve looked very explosive at times but the horrific turnovers by Emory set them back. Richardson looks like a monster but is still raw and who knows how healthy he is. If UF can’t get the run game going it will be a long day.
UF will need some breaks to go their way and play off the energy of the swamp. I think they keep it close but Bama pulls away toward the end. Crazier things have happened though in a rocking swamp when it’s 90+ degrees.

I have a funny feeling about this. Mullen is due for a win vs Saban. He could never do it at State. Not in 100 years. But at Florida he might pull it off. When you least expect it. Don’t bet on it either way.

I don't know much, but I want to see some good football. I wouldn't mind a game that's not so high-scoring, but I'm looking at the wrong two teams for that.
I think UF can keep it competitive.

I agree, I think Bama's oline play will be key to this game. If FL can generate pressure and keep Young busy it will be a long day for Bama.

41-17 Bama and it won't be that close. Mullens is not an elite recruiter and the talent at Florida is not where it should be with that kind of recruiting ground in your backyard and the other big teams in the state all sucking.

Mullen will have some tricks up his sleeve to put points up and Bama has a young QB and we saw what Oregon did vs OSU and their young gun. OSU doesn’t have Saban though…so not feelings very confident right not. If Richardson is healthy he will do some damage but Jones will turn it over three times.
Bama - 42
Florida - 31
Bama - 42
Florida - 31

Y’all aren’t fooling anybody being “concerned” about Florida’s abilities. Bama was up 35-17 at the half last year and Florida had Trask, Pitts, and Toney.
You Bama fans crack me up.

THE TIDE WILL THROAT frick THE GATORS!!!
you happy? huh? you happy?
now, if could just happily....

Relax bruh, Bama ain't gonna love you tenderly... Mullen's teams have always played Saban's teams tough... I think Bama wins but I wouldn't be surprised if the score is close like on the SEC Championship last year... Florida and Ole Miss gave Bama fits and could have won... That can't even be said about their CFB appointments.... This will be a good test and if Bama ain't clicking Florida has the talent to do what Mercer realistically couldn't..

Really comes down to how well bama stuffs the run.
If Florida can run they’ll at least keep it mildly interesting.
The problem is the Florida defense is still soft as wet toilet paper.
I’m thinking Alabama mostly stops the run. Emory Jones turns it over 3 times Florida runs it well in garbage time and it ends closer than it really was 45-21 or something like that.

If Richardson isn’t injured and Mullen actually starts him, it should be a hell of a game. If Richardson is out completely, let’s call it Alabama by 25. Emory Jones is worse than Feleipe Franks. I’ve watched both games, he’s trash. Guy is an INT factory.

No one has even mentioned that the strength of the Bama D which was supposed to be the outside pass rush has been gutted by injuries and it’s only week 2.
Chris Allen is out for the year and Will Anderson is doubtful on the other side. The replacements are talented but have 1 combined start between them.
The OL has also looked shaky due to injuries in camp, particularly at RT and the AA level TE Billingsley hasn’t found his way out of the dog house.
I still like Bama due to QB questions at UF, but let’s not act like it’s 2020 Bama just yet.

Yeah AR15 gives them a chance. Emory isn't good at all

This is the main issue for UF.
Jones isn’t functional right now. If Richardson can get right the East is still a possibility, but you simply can’t beat UGA or Bama with that level QB play.
