I’m hoping Bama isn’t as good as we think. Clearly talent but OSU is talented too. Having a young QB does sometimes cause issues. This is Young’s first road game and it’s going to be loud as hell. If UF can create pressure early which is possible, he may get rattled. It’s MORE likely he will not and will be fine, but it’s absolutely a possibility. Richardson is the key for UF. We have a deep threat ability on any play with him on the field because he throws a beautiful deep ball and we have speed outside with Henderson and Copeland.

Mullen will also have a plan we haven’t seen. I guarantee he has planned for this game for eight months off and on. He knows how big it is. We will see unique things from the offense including a two QB system(both on the field at the same time) that could be interesting..or disastrous. No one knows.

If we make it a game I’m happy though. Getting blown out especially if Richardson is on the bench healthy will not be acceptable for any Gator fan. We don’t take losses automatically here to focus ahead well. Bama wins most likely but Florida has to show something.

you and i and everyone else knows Bama shouldn't be worried about this game.

One of our best linebackers out for the year, quite possibly the best pass rusher in the SEC limited if not completely out, and a first year QB starter in his first true road game?

Yeah, no reason for concern at all.

Bryce Young will look even more like a Heisman contender vs the Gator D, because Grantham. We have athletes in the secondary, but aside from Elam, they're all lost, cause Grantham. Gators will lose big, unfortunately, cause Grantham. Also, AR15 should start.

Bama 45
UF 17

You guys are still thinking of our offenses from the last 3 years. This group, at least now (and probably not ever) is not those groups. We aren't a disaster or anything, but we're not anywhere near the explosive, guys running free wide open all over the field groups of the last 3 seasons.

Not thinking that Alabama's offense is as good as last year so much as we know Grantham. (he was at Georgia for a bit, too) We just think he is bad, and, I think Florida fans think the same.

If Richardson is not able to go or is even hobbled a bit, then I see Alabama stacking the LOS and stuffing the run. If Florida has to throw the ball with Jones at QB, it could get ugly in a hurry.

Nothing against Florida, because i think they are a good team. I just think they are catching Alabama at a bad time.

Can't argue any of that. Every fan base in the SEC can see how awful Grantham is.

And Emory can't read a defense. Stack the box and play zone on obvious passing downs and he'll for sure have several terrible picks.

We need a ton of pressure on Young to have a realistic chance IMO. Pressure and for Young to get rattled. If we can rattle Young the Swamp is a hell of an intimidating place for a young QB.

I don't see Bryce getting rattled (never know, obviously, but does not seem the type), but I could definitely see us scuffling on offense.

The good news for us is that our defense is very good, very diverse and very deep. If Anderson is limited or not playing that'll stink, but we just have a very good unit front to back that is talented and knows exactly what they are doing.

I think it really could be a lower scoring game where the team that can run the ball and limit mistakes wins something like 27-17 or 30-21 or something.

Bama- 37
Florida- 21

Bama's had issues scoring TDs in the red zone and I think Florida will make enough stops there to prevent the game from really getting out of hand. The Gators also tack on a TD in garbage time at the end to make the final score respectable.

I don't watch many of their games because they just always seem like a well oiled machine all the time. I'll watch this Saturday, though.

We are going to sandbag Bama and let them roll us by 35 in this game and then win a bunch of close games in order to sneak up on Georgia, where we will win on a Hail Mary. (payback for 1980) Then we are going to lose to Mizzou and FSU and beat Bama in the SECCG just to frick everything up.

And Mullen will be even more hated. The end.

I agree with this. He put a LOT into last year's SEC Championship Game and came up just short. I'd imagine it's been gnawing at him all off season and he's gonna have that team fired up to play.

I haven't watched any of Florida's games this year, so have no idea what to expect from them, and thus have no prediction on how the game will go.

This all seems rather mean and unneighborly.

27-20 Bama.

We aren’t as good as the rant thinks we are. Could still be the best team in the country and are certainly top 4, but our offensive line has been pretty average, and our receivers are a far cry from the last 4 years. They can’t just get open at will. That coupled with the line means Bryce is having to hold the ball and he’s taking some big shots. I could see our offense really sputtering in Gainesville.

I think our defense has a chance to be really really good though. The weakness IMO is at safety, but the corners and front 7 have been fantastic. I think our ability to force turnovers will be the key in a close win. The Richardson kid looks like the real deal, but having the dudes we have in the front 7 and the diverse skill sets there make me think we can contain him. HTT plays faster than any ILB we’ve had since Reuben Foster and they big guys are just mushing people up front.

UF's D line is one of the best that we have had in a long time. The Swamp will be in full force on Saturday. Dan is great at coming up with a game plan to attack the Saban defense. UF is leading the country in rushing.

Can UF run the ball on Bama? Can UF make open field tackles unlike Miami?

Bama 24
UF 21

This Bama team isn't that good at this time. Could they become a really good team down the road? Unless they find a RT then maybe not.

Defense could be nasty.

Could we put it up as a poll? My friend prefers not to drag out the typing.
