We just won the SEC title with the worst qb of all time. We should be fine regardless.

Week 6: LSU (-4) vs. Florida

kinda scary, expected it to be more...it is virtually the same as at Arky. I think UF has a week off before us as well.

LSU at home, I'll take LSU in this one. Of course I said UA would win it due to the home game last time. Last year I thought LSU was equal to UA but the home would be the deciding factor. THis year I believe LSU is the better team, on paper at least.

Same goes for you guys.

Give Hilliard and Ware the big carries, let Ford and Blue contribute.

would be an interesting game to watch if both starting QB's were out

It will be far more interesting if both starters play. Shaping up to be better than the first " Game of the Century."

This game may just be one for seeding once the 4 team playoff arrives in 2014. Could become the annual "Mulligan Bowl."

The loss of McCannon or Mettsiah would likely cripple either club.
We wen't 13-1 last year with JJ/Lee...

We'll be fine.

it would be even more interesting to just totally take all roster qb's out of the game and see who miles & saban would use to fill in....there are so many incredible athletes on both teams.

LSU is no better off if something should happen to Mettsiah.

A 2011 repeat with maybe a better end?

Ditto.

A fragile offence is one built solely around QB play. That's why it's better to run 55/60% of the time...a QB injury or a bad QB day doesn't derail a team, imo.

Bama doesn't run 55/60% of the time. Well, they do if you count garbage time and QB scrambles/sacks. In terms of snaps where Bama meant to pass, they snapped it around 25 more times in non-garbage time.

Losing Mettsiah would be a bad pill to swallow but LSU has plenty of alternate game plans for playing with no quarterback... Lots of experience on this one.

But neither team has exactly had to depend on great QB play over the past few years (I mean- LSU sure as hell hasn't, anyway- Thank God. ).

Both teams will have a strong running game, and as for QB play- their main job is to not go out there and throw the game away. They don't have to be Super Joe Montana.

But hey- if they happen to have a big game- icing on the cake.

Frankly, I wouldn't be totally shocked to see it all come down to these two teams AGAIN- and I'm not talking just SEC WEst, either.

I guess we will see.

McCarron is up to 215 lbs. Eh, nothing big, but he's not a stick any more.
