Both teams will have a strong running game, and as for QB play- their main job is to not go out there and throw the game away. They don't have to be Super Joe Montana.




Neither team has been forced to start a redshirt freshman who has never seen the field. Opposing teams would likely put as much pressure as possible on each QB, put 9 men in the box, and make the newbie beat them.

I would hate for Phillip Ely to have to play for 3 quarters on the road against Arky or LSU with only a few reps in practice that week. I don't think that is the best method for breaking in a new quarterback.

Either of these two dominant teams would come back to earth if forced to play their second string QB.
