upvoted for trying to talk football and not conspiracy theories/LSU is dirty and will target Tua's knees or some other redundant ridiculous BS

LSU fans will get a good treat, they get to see the next Drew Brees in a few weeks.

It doesn't matter how good the LSU DB are, they can't defend a perfect pass.

It isn’t far and away the most talented secondary he has faced. He sees ours every day in practice.

Listen to the analysts comments about his accuracy. Watch the game film of ball after ball hitting guys in stride in tight windows.

He’s the best I have ever seen at the college level. He’s the best they have ever seen at the college level.

If he is healthy there isn’t a team in college football that can stay within 2 scores of Alabama. You may not believe it now, but you will soon enough

All of this

Which begs the question why some LSU fans are so confident in their secondary. Georgia had some plays like that agains LSU and Fromm didn’t make them

It's not confidence in shutting it down, but more of slowing it down and making bama drive the length of the field, which they are fully capable of. Big plays will happen for both, but neither can give up that many, esp LSU.

I don't think people understand how good Alabama is this year. I really don't.

Everyone keeps talking about how they haven't faced anyone. They blew Texas A&M away, just the same as every other team they've played. Tua was sitting on the bench before the 4th quarter started. Texas A&M would give LSU a really close game, possibly beating them. Texas A&M took Clemson to the final play, and could've beaten them. Clemson is their only real loss since you can't really expect anyone to beat Alabama. Texas A&M would beat Florida.

I'm just saying, Alabama hasn't even come close to feeling pressured. They haven't even had to play a full game yet. Idk how LSU fans think their team is so much better than Texas A&M that they'll be able to take Alabama down to the wire, when the Aggies couldn't make Alabama sweat

Trust me, Saban will be there with you guys suffering a little deep inside watching a once proud and mighty Defense be toyed with and brought to it's knees by The Great Tua. All he thought he knew and defined his manhood upon, was destroyed in bowl practice last year, when The Great Tua went 53-58 against his beloved #1 Defense.

Sorry dudes. The Great Tua stole Saban's manhood and he will yours as well. Just be happy that you get to participate in the making of history and can one day tell your grandkids....yeah I once saw The Great Tua play and it was Glorious! As if the Heavens and Earth touched every time the football left The Great Tua's blessed hand!

What is the LSU pass defense ranked nationally?

Much higher than it will be after facing The Great Tua.

I don't think it really matters if they get pressure,

I've never seen a QB with pocket presence like Tua.

He’s been sacked 3 times this year, and they’ve only been in one game that could be considered contested to a point that he might feel some uncertainty about the outcome. And that game was in Tuscaloosa.

He has been unbelievably, unprecedentedly good so far, but nobody’s perfect and nobody is immune to pressure.

LSU is the best team Bama has seen this year, but the same holds true for LSU. The early wins over AU and Miami look much less impressive now as those teams are getting exposed. The UGA win is impressive, but Bama isn't UGA.

I expect Bama to pull out a 10-13 point win in the 4th quarter.

I'm sure LSU will play with the same intensity they had against Louisiana Tech.

I'm not saying that isn't a valid excuse (b/c it certainly is), but you could say the same thing about Bama's D with every game they've played.

In all fairness, Tua throws one of the best long balls in college.....or for that mater the pros. The key is jamming up Jeudy at the line and forcing Smith to remain a blocker for the majority of the game

I’m not sure which game that is but if you’re referring to AM that wasn’t in doubt at all.

Pressure will be key IMO like you said. However, if it requires a blitz Tua will shred it.

Good point especially with a fill in at ILB for a half.

J'Mar Smith put up over 300 yards and 3 tds on that D.
I think Tua will be just fine.

You do know LSU only plays to the level of their talent...right? And Tech only knows how to pass.

Bama will make plays. And they can win. But I don’t expect a damn 45-10 kind of destruction-fest like you’ve been used to this year at all.

LSU winning: 30-27 on a late-drive score.
Bama winning: 34-24 on a final drive, icing the game.

Drew Brees couldn't complete a pass on LSU's secondary.

They are the greatest DBs the universe has ever seen

That makes the point more.

Watching that UT game, it was clear that Tua was 100% comfortable the entire time.

We are going to have to make him uncomfortable early to have a shot.
Which is why even rational LSU fans, who know it was always a long shot, are outraged by losing White for the first half. Even if it’s a long shot, we want to take the shot.

Don't forgot the hit Saban put out on Colt McCoy.
