Bama will have dynasty status for sometime and have earned that. I’m just glad to see the Saban decline beginning, I am going to enjoy this

They already have.
One National Title in 5 seasons is not a dynasty.

Nah. Not yet. They are the CFB top dog at the moment, but a dynasty IMO takes at least 3 national titles.

“the thing saban never tested his players for?”
I knew eventually some idiot would say this. Covid applied to everyone except Bama. I knew these morons thought this, just wanted one of the mouth breathers to say it.
Thank you. Now it’s on record.

If no NC this year.
Bama hasn't gone 3 seasons without a NC under Saban.
It's nut up or shut up time for Saban and the boys.
Not sure i agree. Saban/Alabama has made us numb to how hard it actually is to win a title. If they don't win another one in the next 2-3 years? Maybe. But they get another grace year for me.

If they three peat this season, they’re the new dynasty

Imagine being in a place where not winning a NC in a 3-year period is considered underachieving.

This!
Bama set the bar that everyone is trying to achieve. The only thing close right now is Georgia even if they don't win it this year the Dawgs are still close. If Bama wins the dynasty continues.

2020 was the most amazing season in history...All SEC schedule, no creampuff stat padders, everything that had to be overcome...
Careful. There are a couple of fan bases out there embracing cancel culture who insist on canceling the 2020 season.

I don’t think Saban has declined at all but the quality of coordinators available to him has definitely declined.
But I’ve heard he’s hard to work for but that didn’t just start happening.

You mean the regionalization of college football?
I'd say it's been happening for the past 25 years. There's a reason the Rose Bowl/Pac10 didn't want to participate in a truly national championship system. They saw the writing on the wall.
But yeah, with the SEC winning 15 of the BCS/CFP 26, and southern teams winning 21 of 26 will tend to discourage interest in other regions.
