LSU fans are just pathetic these days. This kind of bitching is so beneath a program like yours.

They are in decline. You guys are the new rising force in the SEC. 9-3 at best this season, which will seem bad but will likely be the new norm for LSU.

Good Post - don't worry about those guys.

LSU has to beat more top 10 /top 5 teams in 1 season to win the SEC than Bama has to beat in SEC play in 5 years.

This year would require. Beat A&M, Bama, Fla, Ga., and the Ga. again.

Bama cant do that shite. These fricknuts on here are entertaining if you like the same exact comment 5000 times a day.

Bama would be sucking arse if they played LSU's sch.

add it up guys.

I actually don't like the double bye before Bama. Too much time. It's like in the NFL where the team with the first round bye rests their starters in Week 17. A lot of times they come out flat in the playoff game. Wish we had a Mississippi State type game that week of Furman.

Bama gets more SEC Welfare
Does all SEC coaches have a say so what week they play a SEC opponent? My guess would be no.

Does the SEC inform the school what week they play a SEC opponent? My guess would be yes.

Am I the only person that think its kind of convenient that the tied gets tamu week 3 with a bye in week 2.

While the Tigers get screwed with scheduling & do overs, bama seems to get spoon fed.

It just seems effed up bama gets the team that beat them @home and has the kind of offense saban has been crying about, so early. Why would the SEC put bama vs tamu so early in the year? I have a few reasons (IMO) why saban was granted the tamu game so early.

1) Time to prepare is key in defeating any football team. We all know with time saban will find a way to beat any team with time to prepare not named UTAH. By playing tamu in week 3, saban has had since January to prepare for JF and tamu fast pace offense. Imagine it took saban 40 days to figure out how to stop LSU's offense from moving the ball in New Orleans, he will have over 200 days to prepare for tamu. This is a big plus for saban.

2) The key to an explosive offense is reps and time to gel. We found out last year tamu's offense was in full stride when they met bama at the back end of the season. saban knows that tamu's offense will not be as dangerous at the start of the season week 3 vs weeks 7 or 8.. This is a plus for saban.

3) JF is always into something whether its spring break, nba finals, facebook or the superbowl. Its a possibility JF could pull a JJ and screw himself out of the 1st couple of games because of his conduct off the feild. This would be a huge plus for saban.

4) Possibilty of a rematch with the aggies for the bcs title if bama loses to tamu. If the aggies & bama can get by the LSU TIGERS they will meet for the bcs title for a rematch( because im sure some team will not have a good enough defense to play for the title). Tamu has a dangerous offense that gives sabans 3-4 defense fits. AJ is a good game manager type qb, but if the game becomes a shootout and aj have to throw the ball too much and match JF TD for TD bama will lose. Just in case bama loses to tamu they have the rest of the season to get back to the top. This is the biggest plus of all for saban.

Must give saban and bama props for asking to play tamu early. Hell lets give the SEC football offices some props for granting nick his wish. playing tamu the 3rd week of the season is pure genius by saban thats why hes the best. who would of thought something as simple as playing a team early in the season would mean so much?

I find the fact that bama football gets welfare from the SEC offices is pure bullshite. With espn and the SEC offices heads so far up bamas dookie chute I dont see this crap ending anytime soon.
