Cap1 vs Michigan State (New Year's Day)

OR

Cotton vs Nebraska/Oklahoma/TexA&M (friday, Jan. 7th)

Reason I ask is because "tecnhically" the Cap1 is a better bowl game, higher payout, etc, but many LSU fans including myself are hoping you guys get Cap1 and LSU goes to Cotton (assuming Auburn beats USC, of course) since we were just in Cap1 last year.

More reasons I want Cotton instead of Cap1 LINK

Cotton all the way, and that's strictly based on location. It doesn't matter about payouts at this point; I just want to have a good time.

Jerry World sucks (serious). Worst place I have ever been for a football game.

Also, I'd like to see Jerry World.

yea the cotton should bump the cap 1 as being the next best bowl after a bcs game for the sec. its in a better city and played in a better stadium. the cap1 bowl stadium is wms east

better question is whether bama would refuse an invite from the capital one... since it looks like they will be inviting a team from the SEC West and I'd be surprised if they had any interest in LSU two years in a row

I like the potential Cotton matchups far better, plus the JerryWorld venue.

I'd rather go to the cap one. Ride some goddamn roller coasters.

I'd base it on opponent. If it's against Oklahoma/Nebraska/aTm then i'd rather go Cotton. If it's against Okie St i'd rather go Cap One because we're playing Mich St in a few years anyway, but I'm sure Mark Ingram and Saban would enjoy it.

Selfish reason, but I'd like Capital One because it's close to where I'll be spending Christmas and I'd be able to make the game.

Just curious, what did you not like...the cleanliness, chairback seats, ample parking, countless sports bars, incredible food, or amazing jumbotron?

Football inside feels weird, and it was incredible how little energy there was at the game. I was in the very first row of the 2nd section, so I had damn good seats too; probably the best seats I have ever had at a big game.

Everything is WAY overpriced compared to the old Cotton Bowl, and the crowd just doesn't get into it. The 2009 Cotton Bowl was one of the best (and most fun) games I have ever been to; 2010 just did not compare.

And why do you need sportsbars? They already sell beer, and if you want liquor just bring your own in and save like 50 bucks throughout the course of a game.

I would love to go down there and spend some time in the warm Orlando climate

Cap 1 for sure. Lsu has the defense to go against those big 12 passing games but bama doesn't
