Yeah, we have a lot of young guys out there, thats what happens. I love this team. They have a lot of heart and they just dont quit. Also, the majority of them seem to be solid dudes that have their heads on straight. Classy bunch. This has been the most fun season out of the three, personally.

IMO 2011 by a hair over 2009... the 2012 team may wind up bringing us another NC, but is significantly less talented than '09 and '11.
But wait till next year... 2013 may wind up being our best ever!

How is this years offense less talented than those other years? I think that it is significantly more talented than those years. And then look at this years defense...Dee Milliner is probably the most talented DB since Saban has been here. CJ Mosely is the most versatile LBer we have had since Saban arrived IMO. Jesse Williams will be drafted in the first round. Nico and Lester are really good players that will play in th league. after that we have a ton of sophmores and RSF that are uber talented but havent even sniffed their ceilings.

The 2011 team because they had the best defense I had ever seen. I'd gladly take any of them though.

This team is a lot like 2010's, just has better player leadership, so they didn't lose 3 games. If we gel this season like the 2010 team did at Bowl time, ND is in a world of trouble.

I wish the 2010 team could have been healthy all year. Dareus, Upshaw, and Hightower weren't near 100% until the bowl game.

'09 and '11 were clearly better than '12. Here's my position by position comparison of '09 and '11.
QBs- Advantage 2011 Alabama
RBs- Advantage 2009 Alabama
TEs and WRs- Advantage 2009 Alabama
OL- Advantage 2009 Alabama
DL- Advantage 2009 Alabama
LBs- Advantage 2011 Alabama
DBs- Advantage 2011 Alabama
Special Teams- Advantage 2009 Alabama
I would probably go with 2009 Alabama as the better team. 2011 certainly was more dominant but 2009 played against far tougher competition. I believe they were the better team.

Not an UA fan but to me clearly 2011. They blew everyone away save one game. The 09 and 12 clubs had a few close calls.

Although you could argue a 3 loss team as the AU comeback was something bama actually did, not a freak event or help from the refs.
