Your loss to Auburn or watching Auburn win the BCS.
Talk about how miserable they both had to be.

id imagine how it felt for us last year. terrible

One! ... One National Championship.... uhh, that's all for today kids.

We have quite a few national titles, so that didn't bother me much really. The IB was a heartbreaker, and I was there, so yeah...

To paraphrase a quote from a poster here: If emotional torment was caused by your rival's success, Auburn's fans would have committed suicide years ago

I'd say this year's Iron Bowl probably stung more for you than last year's for me. And that's saying something, it really is.

When it's taken away in a few years come back and let us know how you feel.

I honestly do not give a shite. Bama has won more Iron Bowls and National Titles. I don't care

Iron Bowl. I was happy for my Aubie friends that you guys won it all (since we couldn't). Except I still wish Fairley, Smith and Pugh would have been stripped of their awards and banished from the league.

It really wasn't that bad. The worst part was just having to think about how we blew a 24 point lead. Kind of frustrating. I got shitty with AU fans afterwards, had a good time.

I think you're seriously overestimating our disappointment. I was at the game, and I can assure you that, while it sucked, it wasn't nearly devastating as you think. It just wasn't that unexpected.
I took my father to the game, and when UA went up 21 early, I told him that I wouldn't feel comfortable with a four TD lead that early in the game. He agreed.
In all honesty, this wasn't nearly as devastating as the MSU loss at home in 2006.

This whole topic is crap, but any Bama fan that says losing to your biggest rival doesn't bother them, needs their fan card revoked.

it was awful... the south carolina loss hurt worse because wtf were we doing losing to gd south carolina?? the auburn loss just hurt because we should have never lost that game... and had we won, it would have really helped us create a long streak against y'all. now we may only run a few year streak on y'all.
i did NOT want those cheating arse boogs to win.. but hey, they cheated. i can only feel SO bad in hindsight.

I didn't say that it doesn't bother me. As a huge fan, it does. You would have to be crazy to not be bothered. But i'm not hurt and crying myself to sleep every night over it like some auburn fans want to believe. I have seen Alabama lose games before. It's not the first time it's ever happened, and it won't be the last(although that would be awesome if we never lose another game). I really don't care about that game now. I'm over it.
