Uh... Source? Pretty sure this is not accurate. Believe if anything Alabama and/or the SEC blocked you from moving to the East because 2 schools in same state different divisions thing.

Missouri is in the SEC East. They just make this shite up as they go along.

It was the fact both UGA/UA games were either home or away each year, Auburn wanted it split up so in years they play UGA at home, they get Bama away, then UGA away, then Bama at home. And for some reason, this is how the SEC decided to handle it, which makes no sense at all. I don't even blame Auburn for this frickery.
This... It's not like we haven't had fricking 379 threads about this exact topic where by and large UGA fans and Auburn fans agree, that the *correct* solution involves giving UGA back to back home games to get UGA/Bama on opposite year home schedules for Auburn, and then move the game back where it was.
Here's hoping the SEC doesn't give us even worse frickery when they try and figure out the scheduling with Oklahoma/Texas joining... Personally would prefer to see 3 perm, 6 rotating...

Having always been played in mid-to-late November, the fall season in its full glory on the two campuses, the energy in the air, the magic, etc. Well, it's all gone, now. Thank you, Auburn.
Totally agree. DSOR doesn't feel the same being played this early.

Sorry, if you're saying I'm making this up as I go along, I'm not sure I am aware of the other Missouri program in the SEC? If you're talking about the SEC, 100%... they absolutely weren't sure what to do...
It seems like they were trying to take UGA/UT/UF and AU/UA/LSU and ensure they stayed on opposite halves... then due to the permanent rivalries for UGA/AU and UA/UT, they were left in a shitty spot with east/west breakdowns... so new kid that was the most awkward fit for both halves went east.

Yeah, they really fricked it up after the last expansion fricking with the schedule to make Georgia come to Auburn two years in a row. Honestly, they need to just let us go to Athens two years in a row, move it back to November and fricking leave it alone. Every other year when Auburn has to go to Tuscaloosa and Athens, the only good home game we get is LSU and if we are lucky, a decent OOC game like Penn St next season.
Just get it back to how it was and stop fricking with it. I can't wait to see how they frick up schedules once OU and TX come in...

We played at Auburn two years in a row because they wanted it the other way. Literally went to Auburn twice hefore playing in Sanford.
Whiney bitches need to shut the frick up.

If you don't understand something, no need to make it up. Just skip posting. It's a lot better for everyone.
I mean... frick Auburn and everything, but they weren't exactly jumping up and down screaming to make UGA and Bama home games in the same year, but yeah of course they were happy to be the team who didn't get a home game taken away from them once that was how the schedule came out (much like *every other program* would).
If you want to knock them, it's worth pointing out that they were only noisy about it in years where they were *away* for both games, but that's because that's when their fans are pissed about having a shite home schedule. You don't recognize the problem though until it's staring you in the face... hard to fault Aubie for that other than just being a generally deplorable school with worse fans... but that's a state of being, not an explicit act.

Kick arse in November or kick arse in October it doesn’t matter. Georgia has a chance to beat Auburn 5 straight times for the first time since the 1940’s.

Yep. It was one of those things that the SEC did, and when it happened the general Auburn reaction was, okay cool I guess. Two home games in a row vs UGA. Then generally, having both Bama/UGA home and away in same years, the trade off should still be fine. Then after it happened twice, around 2016/2017 we realized the tradeoff of having them both home wasn't worth the seasons where our home games were done before November even hit. Then we started really bitching about it.

Listen dumbass, who intentionally plays an opponent at their house two years on a row. We did.
My god you are fricking stupid.

It was great when you only had a few games to get up for each year. Three-four weeks off before big games must have been nice. Something similar to playing in the ACC. The SECE sucked for well over a decade.

The pod system will be interesting. Will we still have a permanent game? No way we have a pod with Bama, uga, UT, Auburn.

This reads like a 1980 melt.

In all seriousness.............what difference does it make when the game is played? Players and fans wouldn't get up for it any less if it was the first SEC game of the year or the last. The fact the game is still being played is all that matters. You leg humpers crying about it makes a non-news worthy story delicious though.

I was going to stay out of this troll thread, but I gotta admit...that's a head scratcher.
My guess is it is supposed to be read:
"Return of the Junkyard Dawgs. Erk Russel's Junkyard dawgs."
Seems like they could have done a better job of it, though.

Neutral site games are bad for football. There should always be home and away games. The Penn state game confirmed that for me.
Oh and frick the Bama and Uga fans “Whining” like bitches in the thread.
