Shocked if it's not Beard. He's the obvious choice to make them relevant again.

Hence the reason Indiana would look to hire him.

This idiot absolutely loves talking about Auburn football in basketball threads.

Who knows, Pearl may wanna know what it's really like to win at a real basketball school.
Why would Bruce Pearl want to start over in his mid-60s when he's competing for a #1 seed every 2 or 3 years at his current school? Dumb arse.

Oof. You know it's a bad take when LSU Grad Bama Fan is calling your take stupid after his "Auburn won't be #1 for long" thread.

Yep and 2024 Indiana was more of a football school than 2024 Auburn.

I also believe Beard will get an offer as well as Rick Pitino.

I love a good Auburn troll. I wanted to get on board with this one….
But sometimes you have to walk away from stupid, even if you like the intent.

Would be juicy with the Kentucky game back on the schedule next year.

Publicly, he has admitted that Indiana is his dream program to coach, and if I'm being honest, I have to admit that statement. However, he's retiring at Auburn, and in my opinion, is chasing his legacy above all else (once he retires, the arena will be named after him, and if he wins a title, he'll enter into God-tier among the Auburn faithful). That being said, if he were younger, I could see him taking the Indiana job, but with him being on the backside of his sixties, he's not starting over.

Correct. And we're better than IU these days.

I think they'll go after oates. He's much younger
Posted on 2/8/25 at 3:45 pm to JetDawg
Why would he do that?

Ole Miss should go all in on Wade if this happens

Indiana basketball is basically Nebraska football at this point. They haven’t been relevant in decades.
