If that happens, would we consider this one of the greatest Auburn teams ever?

Not one of the greatest Auburn teams.. Should have beaten LSU except for our coach had a brain freeze.

Second question, he will not be fired, but he may go to Arkie if he loses to Bama.

LSU has a knack of bringing the greatest out of Auburn the last few years

That would mean they beat bama in the iron bowl, which means a 1-loss bama team that didn't win its division would be duking it out with several other 0 and 1 loss teams several of which did win their conference.

Not sure they'd make it back in.

Throw in another matchup against Clemson, and that's a fricking dream scenario right there.

If Auburn plays Clemson, they will absolutely lose again.

You cannot be great if you have a loss.

Any team that did not finish a season undefeated is nothing more than good.

Great is overused.

2010 AU curbed stomped some great teams. The SEC West was stacked that year.

I disagree do you really think 2009 Alabama is better than the 2011 team, the 2012 team or the 2015 team or even the 2016 team?

I think Miami and Wisconsin pull chokes down the road, or just flat out get beat at some point. That leaves 0 major undefeated teams.

This week, Auburn May move up to the top 5 or 4 via some type of attrition/I haven’t studied schedule.

If they beat Bama with their respective rankings being #1 and #4...Bama drops 1 to 2 spots, since it was a road loss to a top 5 team.

Auburn then beats UGA again in the SECCG, who has made it into the top 5 by now...making it 3 to 5 teams in one month? You’ve gotta rank them #1...regardless of the other 1-loss teams out there.

Miami will drop 1 to somebody in the ACC. OU is always good for a choke job, and WV could do it. and tOSU is on a serial killing spree in the Big Ten. Wisconsin will lose.

When everything is said and done, you’ll have:
AU#1
CU#2
Wisky or OU#3
Bama#4

Welcome to our 2011 hell Auburn. Except you have to double dip on Bama and UGA. Maybe triple-dip in Clemson.

At least they don't have to play Mercer twice.

Or Troy.

Hot damn I'll have some of what you're smoking or drinking or snorting or whatever. And some of you motherfrickers call Georgia fans delusional.

Considering todays political climate, I think we can retire this statement. Your aunt can choose to be your uncle, vagina or not.

While it would suck to have to do so, beating both UGA and Bama twice in the same season, winning the NC, and denying it from each of them would be the gift that would give forever.
