Both teams have constructed their rosters the same way...with mid major transfers.

Golden learned under BP. They know each others approach. Should be a fun matchup for the fans

Gun to my head I'd bet Auburn. What happened in February doesn't mean shite now and it's like we peaked in Nashville.

I think most LSU fans will join me in pulling for Auburn to win it all. Good luck, Auburn Tigers!!

Candidly, I think UF is better than us of late, but I doubt UF fans would be shocked if they lost to Auburn.

I think Auburn has a bit of a resiliency/inevitability thing going on in our favor, but I think Vegas line sounds about right (slight UF).

Surprised by that. I'd assume we'd be ahead of Houston considering Duke is a bigger favorite in their game.

Anything can happen in this game.

Florida needs better production from Richard, Martin and Condon. Can't keep relying on Clayton, but Haugh filled the void against Taco Tech. Chinyelu needs go harder to the rim. I've never seen a guy miss so many finger roll shots.

Gonna be an epic clash.

Chinyelu just needs to attempt to dunk anything near the rim. Wild how many bunnies he's missed in the NCAA tourney.

Condon puts the ball on the floor every time he catches it in the post and gets stripped half the time. Gotta stop with that.

Those 2 guys need to step up. It's basically been all Haugh in the NCAA.

idk man, a close, hard-fought, comeback win like Saturday's can really propel a team forward.

I think that it's a tossup. The difference will be Clayton/Richard vs Jones/Pettiford. It will be fun watching these dudes compete. All 4 are really good.

Denver needs to have the defensive game of his life in WCJ and we have to limit offensive rebounds from the Gators with our bigs.

Pearl threw 2 on the ball at Clayton after he got hot early in the game in February.

That’s opened up all of UFs 3 point shooters to get wide open looks.

Another note is that Martin didn’t play at Auburn, and also Micah Handlogten was still coming back from the broken leg and he hadn’t removed his RS yet.

Gonna be a very different looking game on Saturday.

The bookie puts them in this order of likelihood to win it all

Duke
Florida
Houston
Auburn

I can't really argue with that. Duke and Florida seem to be playing the best ball late in the season, and Houston handled UTk like a pimp mad at his ho.

Broome's status is a big question mark. You cannot doubt his heart. He's a warrior, but how well he will be is questionable. Florida deserves to be a favorite, but this Auburn team is resilient and is capable of beating anyone on the court with them.

He's fine. He hyper extended his elbow. it will be sore for a few days, then it will be back to normal.

Hopefully

I think that if it was anything too serious, he wouldn't have gone right back into the game after coming out of the locker room.

I know we went into AU and ran them out of their own gym but honestly AU looks better to me. I'm not sure why.
Maybe it's that UF has been playing so sloppy since SEC tourney and AU has been ballin recently.

However, for 40 minutes anyone can win and hate we have to match up in this round instead of next.

I hope its a classic game and may the best team from Florida win in the end...err I mean may the best team win!

I think if both teams play to their potential it’s a toss-up. I really do. We’ve been living in the narrative that “somebody different steps up every night” but we really need to put it all together to beat the Gators. Miles and Denver need to be on from behind the arc, Johni needs to hit his FT’s and post up and hit those shots that (until Sunday) were falling short, Pettiford needs the lane floater to be falling, Cardwell and Chaney need to be animals on the boards, and CBM needs keep his head and also make crisp passes (his lazy passing can drive me insane). It’s gonna be a helluva battle.
