SEC basketball is really impressive right now. Glad to see many schools stepping it up.

Auburn is a basketball school now

The SEC may be a basketball conference. The current AP poll includes 5 SEC basketball teams. The final football AP poll also had 5 SEC teams.

Considering there are about 2.5 times as many Div 1 basketball teams as football teams, the basketball rankings are statistically more impressive.

It would be really cool if Auburn wins the NC in basketball.

I would be yelling right along side you and Sir Charles.

just avoid the injury bug this year, the last two really good Auburn basketball teams fell a little short of their potential due to injuries to key players

the good news is the team is super deep so we can have people step up

If auburn is #1 how is LSU only 7. LSU should be top three. But glad the SEC is dominating again.

To make you feel better, ESPN ranks Auburn 1 and LSU 2 in strength of record

Well, you have had more 5* recruits in basketball than football in the past 2 years.

This is sad but true seeing as how we haven’t had any 5* recruits at all since Bo Nix

I tend to agree. AU held serve on home court, but these 2 teams are very close.

Thanks to all those quality players from the state of Georgia that choose Auburn over their home state school

LSU will be tough in Baton Rouge.

How’s Pinson’s rehab going? He should be back, right?

It really is thrilling to see the sport becoming popular in the conference. There’s no reason that the SEC shouldn’t dominate basketball like we do in football.

Being a Bama fan this is hard to say but it’s the truth! I love Bruce Pearl and I love his brand! You guys have a great team that’s extremely fun to watch. I’ll probably get grief from this post from some but I speak the truth!

This may come as a shock to LSU fans, but there's actually a lot of other basketball teams who don't play in the SEC. There's some pretty good ones too.

I don’t really think Gonzaga or UCLA are better than the 5-7 ranked teams.

For you of all people to say that. Comedy gold.
