I think he is fine if he gets to .500 in SEC play, a feat which he has only accomplished twice in 7 seasons as an SEC coach.

A problem for the rest of the conference or a problem for Auburn when he get caught doing something stupid again?
What is the total number of DUIs, assaults, etc by thuga players in the last three years?

I've lost count....

Keep in mind that, while he has definitely underachieved in his first two years at Auburn, at least he is finally running a program that has actually won outright division titles, SEC Championships and National Championships while going undefeated three different seasons in your lifetime.

GT roster getting raided? In what world. We lost a dime a dozen WR that Auburn wanted to pay. Ok. We lost a DE. That one hurts a little but everyone lost somebody.

Football is all about the lines. That GT’s coach is prioritizing OLinemen tells me GT will be just fine. We’ve tried it the other way bringing in a hot shot QB and NFL caliber RB and won 3 games multiple seasons in a row because without a line you aren’t going to win.

Yeah, because college students doing bad stuff is the same thing as the head coach buying hookers for players and pressuring rape victims to drop charges.

As for the players, if they are found guilty, put them in jail. They can't play if they are locked up.

No he won’t…

It’s not about winning a title, it’s about pulling off a couple of wins versus teams he shouldn’t beat.

Same thing he did at Ole Miss…like beating Bama and Saban in back to back seasons.

While he's a good pickup, it kind of shows that the transfer portal isn't the way to get top players when the BEST guy available at WR in the portal is a 700 yard per season player.

He'd be a helpful player for anyone... but we're not talking about all timers available in the portal. We're talking about the best guys just being pretty good.

A. The ranking for transfer portal players is beyond terrible. Mathew Golden wasn’t a top 7 receiver in the portal last year, yet he’s top 3 in transfer portal stats.

B. You should not be using a transfer portal every year to acquire “all timers”. You find guys that fit your needs. It’s about using a combination of HS recruitment and development, and whatever you don’t have you go to the portal for. Building a team strictly from the portal or relying on finding guys who are “all timers” every year is. It a winning strategy.

Yeah, because that many lawless players has absolutely nothing to do with the head coach.
