Unfortunately for some teams when the game is tight and on the line (let's say for the past four years), some coaches go into "brain fart mode" and make some very bone-headed decisions which cost them the game. So... taking this into account, I'd say Alabama is not the better team.

Of course you do.
You guys claim a NC from 1941 when Bama finished 20th in the final AP poll. I'd expect nothing less.

Moral victory. Print the shirts.

Congrats on the 11-1 record and playing for the Sugar Bowl.

Selecting the 4 team playoff will cause more controversy than the 2 team BCS
I agree. IF there was a four team playoff this year, just think about the deserving teams that would have been left out. The BCS was a "beauty contest". This next shite will be a bigger "beauty contest", just more teams will get screwed most years.

This is why the playoff will ruin college football as we know it. Bama DID have their shot. Do people forget they played auburn and lost? That was their shot. They dont deserve a second one. That's why college football is so exciting, every game matters
That's not all. If there were a playoff this year, then Michigan State and Stanford would have gotten in over Alabama. Are either of those teams truly better than Alabama from the eye test?

They had 300 yards rushing and over 75 rushing yards more rushing than Bama. They were better that day as well. Dont let ESPN and the media think for you you mouth breathing moron
They executed a smidgen better than Alabama, which is all Auburn needed. Alabama holds the advantage when you compare their other common opponents.

So what is he eluding to? If Auburn is the right matchup, then he must feel as Bama wouldn't win this game either! Even though his opinion is they are the "best" team.... On Paper!

Reg season doesn't matter per Alabama. They "deserve" a redo.

Congrats on winning when it mattered most. The rest is just speculation and regrets.

No moral victory here, pal...just a fact that's acknowledged by folks who know football, and aren't biased.

Then you don't understand facts.
Fact: You lost.
Fact: You lost.

This is, like, the exact definition of a moral victory. I'd totally be posting the same thing if I was an Alabama fan, but come on now. Let's call a spade a spade.

Are these the same knowledgeable football guys who picked Stanford and Baylor to win?
