Auburn is a 7-5 team. Change my mind.

They have averaged 8-4 the last 10 years.They either start hot and finish cold or start cold and finish hot. Their schedule is BRUTAL. They have 2 losses already scheduled in Bama and Georgia and at least 2 other teams that are better than them.
They are this year's Miss. State from a year ago except you don't know who their quarterback is. Lots of hype and tons of questions.
Their offensive line has no proven depth. 5 good starters but very thin debt after that. It was boom or bust all last year if they were gonna show up and block or leak like a sieve. So maybe they are improved this year but what happens when they have to substitute or deal with injuries?
Gus just doesn't have what it takes to win without a Cam Newton behind center. I just don't think they have that with freshman QBs.
Defense will keep Auburn in a lot games this year but looking at that schedule I just don't see more than 7 or 8 wins.

I won't argue with you. I don't see them much less than 7 wins, but it's hard to see but maybe 1-2 more.

I have long ago given up trying to predict what Auburn is going to do in a given season. They are as likely to go 4-8 as they are 10-2. Gambling on them is too much of a headache to try.

Auburn, much like L9U, is always a 7-5 to 8-4 team. Sometimes they just accidentally overachieve.
