If you want validation from Kentucky fans then fine. You all have a really good, almost unbeatable team...at home. There, happy?

well, as long as they let screens be a part of the game AU is going to have an advantage over little ol UK. Really need to look at the rule that allows offensive players to stand still while a defender runs into him full speed.

The weirdest trend in sports is losing and saying oh well we were their super bowl. You’re admitting that they cared more than you. It’s one thing for fans to do it but a coach saying it is such a bad look.

Yeah I don't really know how UK fans can defend this. It's pathetic.

UK played hard in a tough spot against an Auburn team that's really good. Feel like most of the UK people appreciate this and have moved on. I'd be embarrassed at his behavior.

Considering the recent record book it’s rather easy to read that AU has now moved past UK as the dominate SEC program. UK still has a nice team, just not alpha status in the conference. Cal has definitely taken it to heart and is feeling the pressure.

The Auburn posters are talking about the things your head coach is saying. Has nothing to do with claiming to be some bball powerhouse.

Stay on topic if you can.

Yep. POWERHOUSE.

AU was mediocre last year. IIRC they had a losing record in the SEC. Lets pump the brakes as POWERHOUSE equals consistency. Something very difficult to do in CBB with constant turnover and the best players going to the NBA.

Have you read the Auburn posters? The word Powerhouse had literally gotten said. Why don't you read before you reply, it's only 2 pages, you can do it.

And idk why anyone is putting so much stock into the things Cal says, he's a showman when he talks. Most Uk fans brush off half the things he says. Not sure why AU fans are searching and picking apart everything he says

I think it's because he outright told some lies. We didn't storm the court. And we had football players in attendance at the game. They took their shirts off because we have 2 or 3 basketball players that would take their shirts off at the football games to kinda "show off" their physique/six-packs. They would be shown on the video board in the football stadium. That's why they did that. Not because of beating Kentucky. But, in fairness,Cal may not have known that. And he referenced our SRO tickets. We sell those for every game. Not just Kentucky.

Bruce is also a showman, but it doesn't seem like he's taking shots at opposing teams/fans like Cal is doing.

It is sad what that once proud program has become.

Cal is the nicest, most respectful coach in the world to opposing teams/fans when he wins. When he takes an L, he turns into a 12 year old who lost a video game

There are some reasonable excuses for that mediocrity, but I won’t make them. The reality is that even including last year, Auburn has more wins in the last 5 seasons than any other SEC team. Maybe a 5 season stretch isn’t sufficient, but it’s enough to expect AU should remain a top contender in the SEC for the foreseeable future.

This is the problem that I have. You never heard Pearl whining and making excuses after the Virginia game that we lost in the Final Four.

Kentucky is a very talented team but it's not Auburn's fault that they are only 6 deep. Maybe their coach needs to concentrate on developing a deeper bench.

This. And chanting "overrated" after you beat a team.

Hilarious, I hope we set those screens every trip down the court next time we play them.

Yep. He shite all over a team that beat him and threw out every excuse he could possibly give. He thinks saying "no disrespect" three or four times changes the fact that he's acting like a crying bitch.

Then it is the whole, "They came to see Kentucky...." bullshite which is just that.....bullshite. He'd have a point if Auburn wasn't selling out every game before and after that UK game with $250+ SRO tickets and have gotten to the point where fans are traveling just to get a chance to catch a game. He ignored all that. Or, he knew and just used it to prop up his whiney-arse excuses and to feed to his dumbass fanbase that will lap it up and take everything he says as gospel.

Either way, Cal is a punk bitch who seems to spend as much time crying as coaching.
