Auburn fans sure are mad for being the number 1 team in the nation.
Auburn fans now are listening to UK coaches show and reading Lexington print to see if the Wildcat Nation is going to validate Auburn. Weird behavior to get wound up

Didn't listen to the show. I read an article. It quoted the crying your coach did. You should be the one mad that Cal sounds like a complete and total bitch.

Cal did his job...has you and your fan base in a tizzy. I love it. Cal accomplished what he knew would happen when he made the remarks...to get the Auburn fanbase all upset.

Jesus Christ you’ve done it. Dumbest thing I’ve read today.

Did he? He built a team with no depth that now has its fans (and players) saying they had no chance to win when one player went down. He's doing his job?
Keep in mind that these are the same fans that shite on an Auburn player that got hurt prior to playing them. The difference? Auburn won that game.

I am not or never will be on a message board bitching about an opposing coach bitching about his remarks after beating his team and then proceed to be ranked #1. You are in a tizzy fit and it is funny watching you and your base crying about it.

Gotcha!
Keep being on a message board bitching about others bitching about your coach, and keep defending him.

So he'd rather win the trolling war than the game.

That is what makes this thread so funny.

Would Auburn still be successful if Jabari Smith went down and Green had to leave the game long enough to give up a lead due to injury as well?
Pretending that your team wouldn’t hit a speed bump in the same situation is disingenuous and y’all know it.

Cal's downfall into b*tchdom will actually be a blessing for uk. When he finally snaps and retires the last Final Four run will be so far in the past the NCAA won't vacate it like they have everywhere else he coached.

and Green had to leave the game
Wheeler played 36 minutes in that game. Green played 29.
If you want to talk about the Washington injury, fine. Don't use Wheeler being out for a brief stretch as an excuse, though. The fact that Cal had to put Wheeler back in the game when he looked like he had been KOed by Tyson says a whole lot about that lack of depth I mentioned.

I'm sure it would hurt, but Auburn has 11 guys averaging over 10 minutes a game. Kentucky has 7. Depth seems to be a problem there. Jabari's average minutes per game would rank 5th on UK right now and he's Auburn's leader in MPG.

So Auburn’s football program is dead and to make themselves feel better, suddenly they bill themselves as the SEC basketball powerhouse. They have been first place in anything so infrequently they don’t know how to handle it. Be first place in March for four or five years and we will believe you a powerhouse and not a once in a century wonder.
You really triggered the barners with this assessment.

She's equating the Washington and Wheeler injuries to being the same as Auburn losing two top contributors. The fact that Wheeler played more minutes in that game than anyone on Auburn's team invalidates the Wheeler aspect of her post.
She specifically mentioned Green going down for a stretch like Wheeler did and asked what would happen. I pointed out that Wheeler played seven more minutes than Green, even with the injury that took him out for a stretch.
Hell, Grady played all 40. Oscar played 38. Wheeler would have played all 40 had he not ran into a brick wall......twice.
She started her argument from a very weak place with a false assertion that the time Wheeler missed had a huge impact on that game. It simply didn't .
I won't argue that Washington's injury wasn't huge. It was, and it couldn't help but impact the game. It, along with the minutes played by the others and the lack of a ball handler after Washington went out, does highlight the biggest issue the UK team faces this season......a lack of depth.

but it's not factual, sure he makes NBA-like shots, but we also have a bench that is capable too of making great plays, Kentucky put a concussed player back in

Then it is the whole, "They came to see Kentucky...." bullshite which is just that.....bullshite. He'd have a point if Auburn wasn't selling out every game before and after that UK game with $250+ SRO tickets and have gotten to the point where fans are traveling just to get a chance to catch a game. He ignored all that. Or, he knew and just used it to prop up his whiney-arse excuses and to feed to his dumbass fanbase that will lap it up and take everything he says as gospel.
Well even if he has a point, it's still pathetic to whine about it. He sounds like an immature message board fan.
Yes, everyone wants to beat UK and Auburn is very glad that the biggest home game of our season was against a 12th ranked UK team that is likely to sustain that ranking vs. a #10 ranked A&M or something (no offense ags). You want the big game to have a big team in it. It's why beating Ole Miss when they're top 10 in football isn't going to have people framing newspapers, even though it's a big win all the same.
But at the same time, Auburn beating UK isn't abnormal anymore. Yes, it's a short period/small sample, but fans get used to that stuff quickly. People know that, other SEC fans know it, which makes Cal lying about charging the floor, etc. all the more ridiculous and petty.
