I would not be surprised if Auburn beat Vandy.
This is Auburn chance to prove that Freeze was the problem and the team can beat Vandy.

Auburn University partnered with the Poarch band of Creek Indians to excavate the Hickory Ground sacred site in Wetumpka, Alabama, in order to develop a bingo hall and later a casino. The land is sacred to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, who were relocated to Oklahoma via the Trail of Tears.
The Auburn archeologists uncovered and relocated at least 57 grave sites considered sacred to the Muscogee. The Muscogee sued both the Poarch Creek and Auburn in 2012, and the suit is still ongoing.
Since 2012, Auburn has had one chance for a national championship in football, but they were defeated by the Seminoles (!).
Coincidentally, Chief Osceola of the Seminoles was born about 20 miles from Wetumpka in Tallassee.

Osceola was Muscogee through his mother. The Seminoles taking revenge on Auburn for desecrating the sacred burial ground of their great leader was no coincidence.

Wow Auburn, way to confirm to everyone you’re the bad guys.

Tallassee.
Can’t even play a baseball game there without having to worry about shots across the street in the projects.
That city, or town - really, has gone downhill.
ETA: their catcher, who has started since 8th grade, just committed to play at Georgia Tech

You bama fans are obsessed with Auburn. I believe yall are all democrats, searching for what ever dirt you can find on Auburn,
Lifer Alabama fan here at 52….very far removed from being a Democrat…don’t give a shite about Auburn as they can’t hold a candle to Bama, but I do find it quite entertaining when stuff like this goes down….pass the popcorn, not the sanctimony!

In truth, this is better, but it's going to slide under the radar. 3 pages at best.
It needs Blue Tuna Tiger to connect the 57 Muscogee ghosts to Auburn recruiting violations or something.
Anyway, if this is true, you guys LITERALLY have a fountain on campus that y'all jump in for the very specific purpose of removing curses. Why the frick hasn't someone from the football side of the athletic department not gone and jumped in the damn thing?

What then transpired continues to shock the moral consciousness and cause the Mvskoke people of Hickory Ground Tribal Town significant trauma. Auburn’s archeologists removed at least, if not more than 57 of Mekko Thompson’s and other Hickory Ground members’ relatives from their graves. Auburn put their remains in plastic bags, buckets, and storage bins. Many were transported to Auburn University, where they remain today, kept in deplorable conditions that have led to the buildup of mold on the human remains illegally removed from Hickory Ground. Auburn also allowed Poarch to take possession of some of the remains of Mekko Thompson’s relatives, and Auburn has allowed them to remain in trash bags in a garden shed on Poarch’s casino property, despite the fact that doing so is a direction violation of NAGPRA.

With that defense?
They sure could.
I'm definitely not looking at it like a win, yet.

Auburn should have never fired Malzahn. He was good for 8 to 10 wins a year and an occasional SEC Championship. He loved Auburn and was an Auburn Man through and through yet was treated like shite and fired. Auburn won't ever get better results than what Malzahn gave them they are just too stupid to realize it. Harsin and Freeze were disasters and so will the next guy.

This is consistent with my response when watching Hugh Freeze continually underdeliver on offense.
“How!?”
