Good article really and a lot of truth even if Auburn fans don't want to admit it. This guy gets it.
It's not Harsin's fault he's from Idaho but he's got a big big job ahead of him and not a lot of time to figure it out.

Al.com is full of terrible writers but he is easily top 2 or 3 of the worst.
And just so OP knows, despite the name al.com is neither Aubie nor Bammer media. It’s parent company is owned by a Syracuse grad New Yorker and the al.com President is a UVa grad New Yorker.
They are as “Alabama” as Manhattan Clam Chowder.

Ahh, there's that "local media hates Auburn because they have nicer articles about Alabama" logic.
Never mind the fact that Alabama has had about 10,000 more reasons for positive athletics articles than Auburn as of late. That's completely irrelevant.

Tough times coming to the Plains. 5-6 loss seasons will become the norm. For any program in the SEC, but even moreso in the West, one poor recruiting class puts you behind the curve. The competition is too tough. The stakes are too high. Little bro is about to experience a run of mediocrity they haven't had in a long time. Ya hate to see it

He obviously over states some things like we should be able to pick and choose defenders and harps a little too much on losing a recruit to Kentucky given we fired his recruiter and entire defensive staff. So in that regard yes, it's a little over the top.
However, the main point is we are falling behind and fast and that's the truth.

Al.com is very anti Auburn and useless. The only good newspapers in Alabama are the small town ones.
