bama and a&M only have to show up for 2 games all season, LSU has to show up for 5, LSU fans should just DWI and enjoy being exposed to more quality games rather than sitting through 10 games of crap, at this point i've accepted that the SEC and media are going to constantly shite on us, so I'm just going to enjoy the games we play and be secure in knowing that we are better than A&M and not that far off of bama's level at this point. If no one else wants to acknowledge that, well IDGAF

Im not really sure how our schedule is easier than A&Ms but i guess it doesnt really matter.

If they only show up for 2 games they will lose 1-2 other games. This is still the SEC where anyone can beat anyone any given Saturday....

The claim that A&M had the second easiest schedule made me look into it, as I couldn't imagine anybody ever having an easier schedule. But from your own link: LINK A&M isn't second worst, we're 4th, with Ole Miss, Alabama, and Vanderbilt bringing up the rear.
Given that list I imagine we're "above" Alabama only because we play Alabama, and Alabama obviously doesn't. The schedule is still embarrassing, but I'm not sure we could have done much better. We of course lost our perennial OOC foe Arkansas, and the pussy Big 12 teams won't play us. This will improve in '14 when we have either USC or Oregon or both on the schedule. But for now - you're right (even though you didn't come out and say it), it is embarrassing.

My first reaction was that had to be Kingsbury, but he's already publicly stated he doesn't want to play against JFF.
My second reaction is - why the hell would we want to go back into that hellhole? I dunno what it was like in your college days, but for me I'd lose no sleep if a meteor wiped out Lubbock. Absolutely the worst most obnoxious and violent fans I've ever seen.

KK thinks JFF is gone after this year. Both KK and Tech's AD, Kirby Hocutt, have publicly expressed a desire to play A&M.
I'll give the Raiders a bit of credit. Of all the B12 teams, they seemed to show the most resistance to UTx's heavy-handed tactics. They flat refused to ever appear on the LHN.

Kingsbury said on the radio this morning he's working on getting us on the schedule. I think Sumlin will probably agree given their friendship and I doubt KK would have mentioned it if it wasn't fairly far along. I wonder if we're going to try to fill the hole in our OOC schedule with them. We have USC in 15/16 and Oregon in 18/19. We have no marquee game for either 14 or 17. They aren't exciting but they'll probably be willing to accommodate our schedule to get it done
I've also been told we have been having talks with OU. Slive mentioned the perm schedule should be here shortly and I think at that point you'll see a flurry of activity with OOC games across the SEC once we all know what weeks we have to work with. Until then filling anything only adds complexity to making the permanent schedule

I've no objection to playing TT, but A&M probably needs to teach a self-defense course to students before they attend a game in Lubbock. I've never seen anything like Lubbock on a game weekend. Those people are lunatics. But good for Tech for standing up to Bevo.
