Atlanta absentees. Which loser program has a chance to go to atlanta this year?

Oklahoma? Not really a loser program like these other ones. Best chance

We had played USC in Auburn earlier in the season. It was a tight game.
That season was memorable.
Cam was incredible, but having 4 seniors on the offensive line was useful.
The defense had Fairley and Bynes in the front seven along with other good starters and good depth.
Cam was elite, but without all the really good linemen on both sides of the football(Blanc, Goggans, Berry, Ziemba, Pugh, and so forth), I doubt we win the Nattie.

Auburn was a beast that year, for sure.
Interestingly, for a “loser” program, SC had three years in a row where they won 11 games. If in the CFP era, they would most likely have been in the playoffs those three years.
While it was the backend of Spurriers coaching career, he was still a force.
Edit: I can feel for Ole Miss and their recent situation. Kiffin had them on the brink of a national championship. It’s one of those “what might have been” cases, similar to SC and Spurrier. If only he’d had the energy and motivation of his earlier years, Spurrier might have pushed SC to a national championship.

Mizzou's been twice. Arky and South Carolina have both been numerous times. Oklahoma is only two seasons in. I believe in them going before Aggy.
Aggy and Ole Miss are the only two out of the former West Division to never go.
Even State has gone.
Both probably missed their window to go: Ole Miss lost Lane, and Aggy lost that baby-soft schedule they propped themselves up with last season.

If Golesh can get Auburn back on track, it will make the SEC even better. The Auburn/Bama game is always fun, even for non-fans of those teams. It’s similar to the CAROLINA/Clemson in-state rivalry game: bragging rights, great fans, excellent games!
