They may end up killing college football with the emphasis on playoffs rather than regional rivalries and such.

It is certainly different now.

I guess I’m old so it does not matter as much as it used to, but I’m not sure modern college football will create as much loyalty in fans as it once did.

Same here. NIL, in particular, and the portal have ruined amateur college sports. It’s harder and harder to get excited about HS kids making millions and having zero interest in school.
