1. Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama
quote:

Tagovailoa started all 15 games and accounted for 3,966 passing yards and 43 scores (both single-season records at Alabama). He tossed only six picks over 355 attempts, completed 69 percent of his throws

2. Jake Fromm, Georgia
quote:

The Georgia native started all 14 games and threw for 2,749 yards and 30 touchdowns last season. Efficiency has been a critical part of Fromm’s career in Athens. He’s completed 65 percent of throws and has only 13 interceptions over 597 attempts.

3. Kellen Mond, A&M
quote:

Mond started all 13 games for the Aggies last season and threw for 3,107 yards and 24 touchdowns. Those totals represented a significant increase from the 1,375 yards and eight passing scores in 2017. Additionally, after completing just 51.5 percent of his throws in ’17, Mond connected on 57.3 in ’18. Mond also finished second on the team by rushing for 474 yards and seven touchdowns in 2018. With one of the SEC’s top receiving corps at his disposal, along with another offseason under Fisher, Mond should earn a spot on the All-SEC team by the end of 2019.

4. Feleipe Franks, Florida
5. Kelly Bryant, Missouri
6. Joe Burrow, lsu
7. Jake Bentley, South Carolina
8. Jarrett Guarantano, Tennessee
9. Keytaon Thompson, Mississippi State
10. Matt Corral, Ole Miss
11. Joey Gatewood, Auburn
12. Terry Wilson, Kentucky
13. Ben Hicks, Arkansas
14. Riley Neal, Vanderbilt

Interesting assumption. Who else on that list isn't cemented as a starter yet?

Kelly Bryant worked with some of the best WRs and offensive personnel in the country at Clemson, and his passer rating was 131.73. Franks facing sec defenses last season had a 143.34. Franks also has had Mullen working with him all offseason... Franks absolutely will be better than Bryant

I feel like, and correct me if im wrong, you think Missouri has no offensive weapons for Bryant. which is wrong.

I agree, O line will determine a lot of his success or failure.

I feel like mizzou has no where near the level of talent Clemson had. I also feel mizzou will face better competition week in, week out than Clemson did

Mond is overrated at #3. He does have a good QB coach with Fisher though - but Mond has to be way more consistent before that ranking

Fromm's been working really hard this offseason. He's constantly posting social media pictures of his fish and game conquests. Last offseason Jake had a couple of injuries (one fishing and one boating), probably from being out of condition, so he's doubling down to maintain his form this time around.

Hopefully backup QB Stetson Bennett is in Athens working hard with our very inexperienced WR corps to help them fully prepare for a tough 2019 schedule with a brand new offensive coordinator.
