Prestige doesn't drive expansion. The SEC has prestige in spades. TV sets, eyeballs on the product drive expansion.

A&M got an SEC invite because the SEC wanted the Texas TV market. We delivered.
The SEC isn't going to reduce each member's share of $ unless a new member can deliver eyeballs on tv sets and thus a bigger market share.

We’ve had 1 PPV game each year since the current Big XII contract has been in place. It is OU & not the networks that dictate this as they collect all the revenue under tier 3 rights (similar to what Texas has with LHN).

I work on an Army base and near this base is a little bar, and the manager of this bar was so pissed when he found how much he would have to pay to show it in his bar. He had not decided whether it was worth buying the game the last time I spoke to him.

All trolling aside, I have learned that you don't care for it anyway. The SEC would love to have OU, so it really is a matter of if and when OU is ready. I would imagine that OU(the school, not the fans) would choose the Big 10 over the SEC.

It’s not false. OU has 16 NCAA recognized NCs. 7 claimed at the university level. How many does the rest of the SEC have excluding Alabama??
